So iv'e just sat and watched EFL on quest, i really cannot believe the amount of refereeing blunders. They just make the league look comical. Something needs to be done. It's week after week.

The standard of referring in the Championship is very poor. That is why VAR is needed in the league. I was at the Peterborough game, and the referee completely lost control of the game towards the end of the first half. The prat could have cost Forest the game.

Just re watched the highlights and both shouts were nailed on penalties. To his credit the ref was up with play but just didn’t or wouldn’t see it. VAR would have given both.

I just think most need more schooling 2tone mate. I've seen better Sunday league. Strange how these new ones keep appearing. Useless.

2tone mate, I’m not calling for VAR (at least not in its present format) just saying they would have been given with the VAR in action. I ve said on this site several times that a cricket type Review system should be at least trialled with each in field Captain allowed 3 per match. Play stops immediately when Captain signals after say a ten second period for consultation with team mate witnesses. You would find I think that Captain would be reluctant to burn off reviews and risk running out of them when an obvious reffing blooper occurs. Worth a trial anyway?
