If Spence does leave Back will be ready to come forward by then IMO .

He needs to be because Wilder would be crazy not to recall Spence. ĺ.

He would not be good enough to step straight Into spence shoes carlo.
We would need another full back with pace or dragger to come good, too much of an ask for finn.

What about the Tunisian right back.

I’m afraid it’s the perils of trying to build teams with loan players, it’s impossible to to because this is the thing you’re constantly in fear of, impossible to get continuity,

Hopefully Spence will speak up and tell Wilder he wants to stay at Forest.

It’s true Stevie, that is also driven by wasting too much money previously as well. Pie in the sky to say a player who’s never played in the championship can fill those shoes, if there is a risk of spence going I suggest we start integrating back now?
We won’t be able to sign him and Lowe permanently due to the aggregated loses issue, think of how many failed signings there have been- we’ll be treading a tight rope i would think.

well if he has to go then that's it, let's get behind them and get as many points as we can before jan. cooper knows the score with loan players i'm sure he will have a replacment in mind.

Im afraid if Spence does go back the squad not just the team would miss him big time, I believe he is a major influence on this squad, he’s not just a very good defender and great going forward to add to our attacking, its his never say die, chase everything run all day attitude that I’m sure has rubbed off on a lot of his teammates, seeing him do what he does week in week out must be a great asset for any squad, losing him could be devastating in more than ways than we think.

Does anyone know why Gabriel went to Blackpool? I know it was pre SC but he is playing really well . As far as Spence is concerned Middlesbrough are doing pretty well without him . My own thought is they will put a 5M price tag on him to get some funds.

Doc, I agree as he’s a similar player to Spence, maybe the club felt that some of the players coming through are better prospects than Gabriel. I also agree that Spence will cost minimum of 5 mil and there is no way we can afford that unless we sell first . If only crapvalho was worth just a third of what we paid for him!

It’s a tricky one, who would you loose to retain Spence? The 14 layers SC continually uses I probably would not want to sell any of. We at last have a genuine team that play for each other. Bids will come in for Johnson I suspect, but I would prefer Johnson and loose Spence but okay Finn Back.
