Most improved players since Coopers arrival imo are Ryan Yates and Tobias Figeredo

Both these lads seem to have found there purpose in the team Figs heads it and stops it and Ryan wins it and gives it

So simple and effective.

I have to respectfully disagree Ff. I watched McGovern often and he did a lot of the dirty, unseen and unglamorous work which allowed the more gifted players like Robbo to thrive. Every great architect somewhere along the line needs a Hod carrier and Cloughie never asked a player to do what he was incapable of doing. That was why he was one of the greats and why he trusted McGovern to do what he did week in week out.

I remember being at Wembley for the final against Southampton and one of their fans saying to us after the game.
Thank god we only had to play against ten men.
He just couldn't understand why he was in our team.

He was barracked mercilessly by forest fans, I remember the chants of McGovern out, it’s the only reason Brian made him captain, to make a point to the fans, now he’s talked about like he was deschamps, that team was capable of carrying him anyway, and the players rated him, I do know that fit certain.
