To me we have broken away from the old and are starting with the new.
We've gone full circle in four years .
Warbo was our manager, marinakus had just bought the club.
During tthe close season assombalonga gets sold and we get the written letter from randall saying tough times ahead
Mcparland resigns unable to fo his job without interference and warbo follows that saturday.
The rest of the managers barring Oniel where bought in on a whim because they had a promotion on their cv to the premier.
Now we have dane murphy and steve cooper who will get their own way or will walk away.
They are young and ambitious and succesful at a very young age in football management terms and to me this is exactly what this club needs.
A future not the past.
As much as i enjpyed every minute of it i want the younger forest fans to have some kind of success to enjoy.
Its a positive move in the right direction bringing i n a younger coach and working in tandem with the academy.
Its the way forward that karanka stopped and has taken the owners a while to digest.
So looking forward to no more colback, arter type signings on big bucks that to be honest aren't going to get you anywhere fast anyway
For the first time since marinakis took over i'm feeling good vibes about us.

Easy lads.
Time will tell remember this is Forest.
Wise words from Cooper but actions speak louder than words.
If Cooper is as passionate on the sideline as he is giving speaches Forest are going in the right direction.
Hopefully Cooper can turn things around.

And listening to Coopers first interview was last a breath of fresh air. What a contrast to CH. He talks positively about the talent in the squad and how they need to realise how good they are. I think Cooper is really going to instill some confidence back in the team and have us playing with more freedom.

Everything looks positive so far. One thing we must all do now is give SC time and space to turn things around. Patience is required - not easy after so many years of stagnation and failure. Safety this season after an awful start will be a good beginning along with indications that we are building for the future. Hopefully we have a young manager with new ideas and a fresh outlook. The Jurassic period is over - let’s give it time and see where we can go!
