Don't want cooper need someone to come in with ruthless Streak no more nice guy's needs a manager to get players looking at themselves to play for the club with pride and passion.

Cooper is the only option, all others play a different style of football, the ‘club’ decide how we play and Cooper fits the bill. You just have to hope he executes it better than Hughton but expect the same tactics, that’s why it’s him.

My impression is he's the clubs choice as he managed two playoff appearances on a tight budget has experience in working with a youthful squad and is happy with a minimal January transfer budget.

Really don't buy into the whole puppet on a string BS.
Really don't think Randall, Murphy or Cooper if he's offered the job would really stand for that to be honest.

My impression is that he is maybe a yes man and has appeased his way into the job.
If he's like Hughton I'd give him ten games.
Although I will wish him luck as he will need it and I hope he delivers the goods and turns around the club.
Cooper has an enormous task ahead of and if he fails Forest will become a bigger laughing stock than Derby.
