Hi guys, first time poster.

I thought CH would have slightly tweaked things but he hasn’t and it’s disappointing it’s clear to see that trying to win 1-0 doesn’t work with the group of players we have. We have the players to go after teams once we’re ahead and against teams like Coventry we should be doing exactly that.

However, I don’t think the boys did bad at all. Considering we’ve missed nearly 2 weeks worth of pre season due to c.v. I thought we looked sharp for the most part.

Lyle Taylor was the most frustrating players on the pitch, I do not understand why he throws himself to the floor whenever there's slight contact, it’s frustrating.

A lot of people have moaned about bong and Colback but I actually thought they both did decent. Colback looked fitter than he’s been for a long time and bong (who yes is passed his best) was solid for the most part but age is catching up with him.

If we can add Garner, a striker (Rogers? Kulenovic? ) and a LB (Buchanan? ) . Then we’ll have a solid season. That being said CH needs to re-evaluate his tactics and just add more energy to out attacking scenarios otherwise he won’t be around much longer.

Agree Taylor not good enough and neither is Da Costa. Grabban nearly 34. We need two more strikers. And two full backs. Minimum.

Welcome trent. Nice post. If you listen to hughton he is desperate to change to a more attractive attacking system but we simply do not have the players to do that yet. He will bring in quality of the type you suggest. Its been strange difficult times and we must sit tight and continue the clear out of crap that has been poured into the club over 3 or more years.
