I accept Chris Houghton has achieved things in football and is a decent chap but at the same time need to be realistic about his present day position. His low key behaviour on the touchline in games and after match interviews suggest to me he has maybe lost his appetite for the game? Also the zero activity and player interest so far also suggest he has lost his contacts in the modern game - Murray and Knockeart - I hope he has more than that in store in his locker? It's all very well these managers at the twilight of their careers accepting £500K+ per year pay deals but what has he brought to the club and what's to come? In my opinion after 8 games in the coming season there should be some signs of a pattern of play and some hope of a top 2/ top 6 finish or it's got to be a case of how much more time does this football club waste? Also looking at the Wales squad I'm a bit concerned that Brennan Johnson doesn't walk into it if he's going to realistically play any sort of key role in a top 2/ top 6 finish?

Artin oniel achieved more both as aplayer and a manager and achieved more in 19 games as forest manager than hughton, so if O'Neil wasnt good enough anymoe why will hughton be?
Fans of hughton are just living in hope that he will do another Brighton.

Red Hot frustrating as it is the fact is we don't know what activity re transferes is going on behind the scenes, no news means nothing. Re interviews, they are so scrutinised these days managers risk trouble if they say the wrong thing so boring interviews, again means nothing. Managers save rants to changing rooms I would think.

TRex chris could bring in messi and Forest will still be boring.
Some of you fans are too forgiving I hate to say.
How much time and chances do you give?
Look at Carvalho as an example.
He has had so many opportunities to excel but we all know he's a misfit.
Yes the Dinosaur is still here but he will not bring in player's with attacking skills he will probably stick to his defensive style of play and obtain players of that mould?
Goals equal points and holding out for draws will not bring promotion but another torrid season of boring football and mid table gloom if Forest are lucky.
Sorry guys for me TRex Chris is not the man to raise Forest to Premiership.
He is the Boris Johnson of Manager's.
