Another young prospect with a good pedigree is allowed to leave our club without being given a chance! While we sin players like Passback and Arter and take crocs like Freeman on loan I hope we have negotiated a sell on clause for McGuane!

From what I've read, I get the impression the lad wanted to go to Oxford. He hasn't cracked it at arsenal, Barcelona or forest but he's happy at Oxford, maybe shows a lack of ambition or he's just happy there. I know people are going to say we didn't give him a chance but that would of come next season, but you don't keep a player that wants away.

Surely common sense should have been used in this fracas, mcguane should surely have had a preseason at forest to see how he had developed out on loan, he would with out a doubt been a better proposition then some of this rammel we have now, typical forest move,

I'm not sure of his current job description but I'm pretty sure Gary Brazil would have had some sort of say in the mcguane sale and as far as I'm concerned he's in a better place to make a decision wether a player has what it takes to become a decent forest regular
So I'm guessing he wasn't good enough for a place in the squad

Bang on from Redmash. Pretty sure the Forest crew will have been checking him out whilst on loan and deemed him not good enough. We'll find out over the next season or two whether they're right or not. We don't get too many wrong to be fair.

Hes not a kid he's 22 bought up at arsenal went to Barcelona.
Theres a reason he ended up with us and is happy to sign for a league one club.
