Thats why it cheaper to buy a season ticket and commitment. I know skegsy can only make it as and when but if your local and a fan. If were doing well there will be so many bulance chasers complaining about not. being able to gettickets. Home attendances last season show you the hardcore fans we have.

For an adult to buy a season ticket where I have mine it's £500-535 (too much)
But to buy tickets for every fixture on a match to match basis it's around £620
Ludicrous prices for both, but once again I don't think fans commitment should be questioned when there is a very good reason. If you don't buy a season ticket than you are worse off but not every person can pay these insane prices it's time something was done about it. I understand the money has to come from somewhere but I think ticket sales account for a very small amount of a clubs revenue and it's largely unnecessary. Get more fans in for less snd you end up with the the same income anyway! Would rather have 24,000 x £23 than 19,000 x £28/ 30 🌳.

The finance option which is abailable to all spreads the cost and is a small interest charge of 9%. You save even more money by then renewing in the second season again using the finance option.

{Ed001's Note - not everyone can afford to that, why are people on their backs if they are not in a position to buy tickets?}

The corresponding league match at Leeds costs even more to sit in the main stand facing the buses coming down Elland Road!

At least they offer fans a free neck brace to actually see the pitch for 90mins!

Haha.

Sorry ed but some are quick to vriyicise the teds and don't go. I appreciate fans like skegsy can't get eachweek but i know how long he's supported forest anyway. Its arm chair fans who ho down once in a blue moon and have evrrything to say that piss me off. Theyde be the ones belly aching if they can't get tickets.

{Ed001's Note - armchair fans? What pisses me off is entitled morons abusing others for having an opinion but not the money to go to games every week and terming them 'armchair fans' simply because they are not in a position to go. Idiots that think their opinion carries more weight simply because they can afford to go to matches are the real problem.}

Totally agree Herefortheforest, even a £500 season ticket with payment plan ends up costing £545.so if you happen to miss approx 3 games you may as well buy individual tickets. Then there's the cost of travel, food, etc. it all adds up and the reason why i can't afford a season ticket. Yes there are some Championship clubs which charge more but there are a lot more that are cheaper, i think Forest are in the top third of Championship clubs for matchday ticket prices.

As Herefortheforest said get more fans in for less and you end up with the the same income anyway! Would rather have 24,000 x £23 than 19,000 x £28/ 30 the atmosphere would be electric. I spent several years in Germany whilst in the army and used to visit Borussia Dortmund and Armenia Bielefeld and NEVER paid more than 14 euro a ticket, stadium always packed and best atmosphere i've ever experienced at a football match.

Im an idiot moron whose followed them all over the world so i'm entitled to my opionion. Not a pompous prick like you ed who thinks he's god and dictates to all and you impose your opnion on every one else.

{Ed001's Note - so you are not the one telling people they are not allowed an opinion because they are not going to games then? Because they are just 'armchair fans' in your words? Are you really this stupid? You are the pompous bell trying to impose your opinion and now you are trying to turn it onto me. Grow up and go play with your teddies you spoilt brat. Just because you have a bit of cash to spend on tickets does not make you a better fan, but it has made you an entitled prick who thinks they are superior to those with less money.}

Cheaper tickets bringing in more fans doesn't just work out as simple as ticket sales being about equal. What you're forgetting is the fact that some fans spend differing amounts at the ground, whether that's on any parking, programs, food, merchandise etc.

Simply put more footfall = more money. Using really off the top of my head figures I worked out that forest could potentially more than double matchday revenue at the top end. The only issue with footfall is that more people will be required to be employed to cover this.

It amazes me that teams like Forest try to grab money off of the few rather than the many.

Well said ED I'm an arm chair so called fan bout I listen to every game on player so we do know what is going on and how we play and I am as passionate as anyone about forest, I want to go to games but that will cost me between £80 to £100 with travel and expenses and that's a weeks shopping we are all fans and we all want Forest to do well and we all have an opinion which we think is right. Let's all support the team and look forward to a new season.
