I keep reading various texts about CH's future after the appalling results we've had.
Can people please get it into their heads that this is Sabri's team NOT CH's. When he came the transfer window had closed and as the squad was already overloaded made 1 loan signing only.
The big mistake was by Marinakis not sacking SL at the end of last season so a new manager could come in and build a team.
Well if we get rid of Chris we'll never know what he could have done.
Put yourselves in his position ' you are appointed manager of the previous managers team who were already failing.
Marinakis must surely have known this from the start so please give the man a chance and get off his back.
If I was a manager or a player I certainly would not read any of these columns unless I was masochistic and enjoys being demoralised.
Everybody is entitled to critiscm but at least understand the position CH is in trying to make the best of a team he did not acquire.

Chris Hughton didn't have to take the job. He knew the players available. There was 'NO BOUNCE' from players when he came to the club. It's a disaster from top to bottom at this once proud club.

How many of the backroom staff are still there from SL's reign?
The players brought in other than mckenna have not stepped up or indeed lived up to their glorious past lol. Maybe Grosiki was Hughtons only ask as he came in close to the window closing. Grosiki's ability to creating shooting chances and deadly whipped cross are sorley lacking in this squad. So the spectacular fairure in signing him may have hurt Hughtons ambition more than we can imagine. The style of play gughton adapts has been varied. He has played 3 5 1. 4 4 2 433 so he has tried unlike SL who stuck to boring. Lack of pace might be the reason hughton sets us up this way. Play mighten and swann we hear but does hughton think they are up to it? Trust me if Chris had an instant answer he would utilise it, wouldn't he?
You cannot plan for calamity so in saturdays shocker from samba we make a good start another mountain.
There are signs that hughton is getting performances from certain players we doubt. We need a spark, a goal up to defend. We need a giant slice of luck to get hughton to the window where maybe he has a signing or two up his sleeve. The team selection tonight will be interesting, some change forced but I think he will inject pace. Wonder if he will finally bin Samba?
Changing manager is NOT the answer right now.

The people making excuses for CH make me laugh, his job is to improve things, if anything it's got worse. Simple. Let's see how many of you are making excuses for him when we're in league 1.

Quite simple Rutland, we hire a manager who doesn't have the same ethos. CH has come in and you wouldn't know Sabri ever left, nothing has changed, and like I say, if anything it's got worse. You either turn it around or go down fighting. Right now we aren't going to turn it around with CH tactics, and we definitely aren't fighting.

Umpteen managers and 69 signings say it all.
The Fat Greek and his Mafia mob want those beneath singing to their tune.
Chris and Sabri like those before are meaningless puppets operated by the hand that feeds them.
Worst case scenario Forest get relegated and the Fat Greek gets bored then sells.
Best case scenario Forest just stay in the Championship and the Fat Greek sells!

Absolutely blame the owners. I'm sure they're kicking themselves too, so much time and money wasted. But CH took the job, he knew what it was about and he knew the squad he would have. The owners can't sack themselves I'm afraid.
