I tink the PFA and footballers are missing the point when everyone else in the country who cannot work has had to take a 20%wage cut and even worst if like me your self employed.
Then because they aren't working they should also be furloughed.
That can't happen though unless its voluntary as they are self inployed and limited companies and have watertight contracts.
What makes them look bad and football in general is they are furloughing all the staff that make it possible for them to earn their living.
That is morally wrong.
When i hear wayne rooney say that some players simply can't afford to take a wage cut as it.

The man is a pratt always has been always will be just ask his Mrs shed agree we can't tarnish all footballers with the same brush a lot of footballers do a lot of good for the community up and down the country week in week out even before the virus but has I've said before maybe this will all change things after the virus wages need to be capped no footballer is worth 500 thousand a week and I think after this there's going to be a lot of clubs in trouble that can't pay silly wages I hope everyone is keeping safe.

When you have people like Rees mogg in this country who is going to profit massively from the coronavirus I think it’s time we layed off the footballers for a bit.
