I was out on my doorstep. Solitary in my village. Clapped long and hard!

Those nhs staff deserve so much more than what we could ever offer they are putting their lives on the line to help others and haven't got the correct equipment to keep them safe. after I clapped them last night I closed the door and sat down and thought they need us to pray for them not to clap them.

in 14 days time we will have lost too many of them and many more will be lost after. their job is to keep us alive by helping but the government isn’t helping them to stay safe.
God bless them all.

Absolutely great job being done by everyone out there that is still having to go work to keep the country going especially the NHS staff we was out on the door step last night clapping they deserve so much more but I would imagine just for that 5 minutes they felt appreciated the whole street came out to there door steps and you could here the clapping in the next few streets so proud to be british keep safe everyone.

Bye bye mon- the government and pretty much everybody Is doing all they can at the moment, mistakes may have been made and everyone has made them- to some extent me and you included. Finger pointing and political point scoring is not needed at this time - all efforts should be put into trying to help others.

Got to agree 2 tone no nations are coping no matter how good their health service is.
Only the people of each country can help by just stop going out.
That's the bottom line too many people just thinking I'm ok Jack.
My missus cares for someone in need 3 days a week but her family that lives with her will not stop a friend coming around and after warning them and getting abuse from the teenager she has stopped going until they start to behave.
She will not get paid but doesn't want to put herself at risk for a family that won't listen.

Ff79-shocking mate, she’s done the right thing. This is still being underestimated by loads of people . The whole country needs a big shake up after this. Great response to the call to appreciate the nhs but let’s not forget all the others that are doing above and beyond- the shop workers, the bin men (and ladies), the engineers on call, carers and too many others to list- in fact anyone who is complying with the instructions needs to be appreciated and thanked 👏.

That list should also have included most politicians who are still trying to do their best - each politician thinks they are doing the right thing and has different views on every subject - no ones right all the time and nobody’s wrong all the time - but like this forum.

Just thanked our bin men and one said disinfect the bin handle as we touch hundreds a day with our gloves.
Good advice from the guy taking his job and the health of others seriously.
