First off and without reservation, I am Stuart Pearce fan and admirer as a player, leader and gentleman. Unfortunately it had become pretty clear he couldn't manage these players at this club at this time. We will never now know what he could or could not have achieved given time and that is a shame.

I understand why he had to go. There was little choice, although a slightly longer time before the new appointment may have been a little more respectful.

I also am a Fawaz fan and grateful for what he is trying to do for our club.

What worries me much more than anything else is the resignation of the CEO and the disruption (with probably more to come) that is occurring.

Fawaz undoubtedly wants to succeed but he wants to run the club from top to bottom. I thought he had learned and taken a big step forward with the appointment of a top notch CEO but it seems he can't help himself and I worry that he sees DF as a yes man.

We fans can only give the fantastic support we do and hope for the best but I worry because Fawaz cannot run the club single handed and I fear that he might fail because he thinks he can, despite all of his admirable intentions.

Good look to Dougie and the team, I think you are going to need it.

Forest fans are the best and you can definitely count on them to get right behind you.

Completely agree with you. Seems strange why that fawaz admitted at the end of last season that he needed a CE because he couldn't do everything himself and wanted football brains in the hierarchy at the club. Now for whatever reason he didn't want to communicate with the CE he wanted at the club. Who knows what's going on??? Really hope freedman gets the fire burning again in that dressing room, because without doubt our squad on paper is top 5 in that division. Maybe it's time to get back to the very basics and ask the players for there input on how they feel we should approach the opposition? At the end of the day there the ones out there kicking that ball about.
