I’m generally a glass half full type of fan when it comes to Forest but I’m totally underwhelmed and baffled with who we are being linked with and the players we are signing.

Honestly thought that 4 quality signings added to what we already had from last season would be a great step forward
Cannot understand this scatter gun approach of signing all these players
I think Watson and Dawson and Worrell in the team is a backward step
We are still left with no Right back we might as well kept Osbourne there
As far as a striker we’ll i'm speechless
Can someone tell me where the planning on the field is?
I’m worried again.

Yes it really is deja vu. Loans free agents and untried foreign players and we're supposed to be going for promotion. Worried we'll be going in the other direction.

Pure spectaculation but does the big Greek actually have the money for transfers with all the freebies etc?
Our current transfer policy sucks with all the influx of unproven/ unheard of players what does marinakis believe he will get the Premiership with this squad?

He has the money yes but the question is does he want to invest that in forest which will then have to be wrote off.

how can you even question whether the owner wants to spend money on forest when he's spending tens of millions of pounds on our ground?

Nffcc99: because so far not a penny of it has been spent in rebuilding. He won't rebuild unless we look like getting into the top six. My bet is we won't and he'll pack up and go elsewhere.

I think we've all missed the point about rebuilding the ground. It's part of a larger scheme with apartments etc. I don't believe in the bigger picture it will cost him anything. He will get it back through property sales.

Nothing has started rebuilding yet not until the end of this season and the boat clubs have yet to move out so give it time we have seen the plans so will have to be patient.

The ground will be built of that I'm sure, they aren't short of money they are just used to running a club in a Mickey mouse league with very little competition.
Olympiacos also have a large squad and mainly Europe's journeyman and has beens.
They have written off debts but have failed to pay fawaz what they agreed
They need to clear the decks of randall McGovern and Clarke and most importantly the dof.
Bring in people who know the English game who then can appoint the right manager and dof to take us forward.
All we are doing is going around in circles and getting nowhere.

Fff79 with respect mate are you saying that McGovern and Clarke, don’t know anything about the English game?

No stevie but they have held positions at first now for years and if they do have any say then they aren't up to much because all we've done is struggle and made poor decisions.
It's time for new blood.

Watson won’t be in team long, Sow will replace him and once Carvalho is back Silva will move back and fight with Sow and Semedo for midfield place, is also now rumours Colback might be back on. Watson won’t get a look in unless we have major injuries.
Worrall is still learning and can do a job in my eyes though I expect Milosevic and either a new player (we seem to be being linked to Centre backs) or Fig to take long term places as we know Daws won’t stay fit long.
If we sign Colback and this lad from Levante and Samba in goal I think we have a very strong squad with depth, need to move a host of players on (Steele, Pants, Benyoune, Pep, Bridcutt, Clough, Ariyibi, Cummings, Murphy probably some others I forget! ) and sign another quality striker and i will be very happy.
