So if your told to find a new club what incentive have you got in your 30's? Let's face it the likes of Murphy Heff etc could all sign for lower league teams tomorrow but know they would have to take a big wage cut. So instead the turn up train odd game in the under 23's and take home the big fat wage packet?
Surely having dead wood just hanging around the place is not good and a drain on facilities so pay there wage ship them out on loan or stay at home as it won't cost anymore? What's the cost of paying them off? . Let's see some pride n passion today boys players and fans.

Signing Murphy on a 4 year contract was always a crazy move, so we can't blame him if he wants to collect his 25k a week and then retire at the end of the season. I know that's what I'd do instead of playing lower league football for a couple more season earning 5k a week.

Spot on Gazza. Its not Murphy's fault he was given a four year contract.
A younger player should consider dropping down a level and try to rebuild his career but Murphy's career is all but done so he would be daft to move.

Darren definelazy? would you rather he chase stuff down run around all over the pitch to then not be in a position to score a goal or would you rather he picked and chose when to? the midfielders are there to do all that. do you think he gets told to run his nuts of by the manager/ coach but just ignores him? if he did do that do you think he would get picked after going against what the manger/ coach has instructed him to do?

Grabban scored 17 goals last season being “Lazy†but if he ran his nuts off out wide chasing balls do you think he would of scored half that? i would rather he stayed up top waiting for that opportunity than be out wide and he not be there for that opportunity when it’s presented. if he did run his bits of and he scored 6 goals all season you would mon that he’s not scored enough.
