It's becoming pretty obvious that the recruitment strategy is very different to the MON ethos and was put in place very early on before the summer so the parting of the waves was inevitable?
It's also looking like more of 3 at the back with the added energy and numbers in midfield and a ball playing keeper in Muric?
A couple of quality strikers and we should see our goals for and against improve to give us a chance?
Not "Happy Clapping" anyway near yet as these new guys need to hit the ground running but at least there seems to be plan to play a higher tempo game over the season which can only be a positive?

I’m not convinced it’ll be 3 at the back, with the signings he’s made I think we’re looking more like a 4-3-3. Left back a DM and a CM would point to that given the number of players we already have. 3-4-3 could work but I’d be surprised if this was what he used. Then again I’m not a football manager in this life, thankfully my computer seems to think I am and that’s all that matters! Champions League 2022 boys!

No different to the chaotic recruitment under AK. Martin had a realistic handle on what was needed and his recruitment was solid. Its all just another massive gamble and continues the theme of over population. Team spirit is difficult to nurture uhder this policy.

I have to agree rutland and it's not just team spirit it's getting the players to gel and immediately otherwise the coach will be gone, too many players to pick from can become a hindrance instead of a help.
