Well if the Carvalho rumours are true we are just a feeder club for Olympiakos. If Lolley and Carvalho go then that’s a huge amount of goals and assists to find for next season. MON has a huge job on his hands

It should be Martin O’Neil that’s going!

RLS, When we were playing rubbish football and losing i was a against him staying but he managed to last till seasons end, we now need to see what he manages to do this season before we make those type of judgments.

TAP, I feel you are wrong, regardless of how you feel about the manager we should keep him until as such results tell us differently.

If the manager was to be gotten rid of it should have happened once we went on a run of losses, that would have given the club time to appoint a new manager, for him to suggest some targets, and to organise the players once they report back.

I respect your opinion LC. And i’d love nothing more than MON to get us to the promised land. But to be honest mate, i think i’ve seen enough, we’re going nowhere with him as bossman.

Well done to O’Neil for getting a few wins when the pressure was off

It's is obvious that Forest's habit (like many others in the modern era) of having no patience with managers is clearly damaging and pointless. I am well aware that MON is not Brian Clough, but I don't remember a clamour to sack BC in his first couple of seasons, fortunately. Arrived when we were 13th in the 2nd division, ended the season 16th. Next season ended 8th. Instant success is very rare.

You can’t keep sacking managers, it hasn’t achieved anything in the past and it won’t achieve anything now. We need to get behind Martin and Roy, give them a bit of cash ,a pre season and a year to build a side

Answering Redfrog's 'feeder club' comment. Olympiacos finished 2nd in the Greek Superleague, so probably offer a better chance of success. 5 points behind Salonika but 18 points ahead of 3rd. If as an owner, you could pay a big fee for Carvahalo and get around FFP, would you? So far the gifts from the Greek haven't worked out but he could generate funds for MON, make Carvahalo a better player and send him back if we ge promoted. In the world of business, it's called 'creative accounting' and represents Forest's only way of staying competitive with clubs lucky to have parachute payments. FTID
