How much time do we give this current manager, staff and team? I travel home and away, there is no improvement. Warburton is a soft touch, appeases his favourites, derides the obvious senior players.
This season started as a new exciting era, Fawaz gone, new owner, new chairman blah, blah.

The feel good factor has long gone.
I don't want to hear anymore " work in progress"
I don't see any.

ff79 please do not reply, cannot stomach anymore of your biased bull 💩.

Have it your way mate, sack him all the staff, mcparland,
Start again halfway through a season, panic buy in January results don't improve, sack him and his staff, panic buy ,that don't work again.
Some sort of pattern here?oh well we 're bound to find a top manager eventually?.
Then before you know it, we need new owners, they're crapp.
Where have I heard this before🤔🤔🤔

Red one at this time of year, when we all sit down to Christmas dinner then turn the telly on to listen to the kings speech"this time next year we'll all be millionaires".
Well this time next year we'll be a better team and a better football club.
You know it makes sense.🍹🍹🍹

Red one

The bottom line is that the current management team are only halfway through rebuilding the squad. We only have 14 players worth keeping
next summer based on performance,or recently signed. We need to park sentiment and get rid of 12 senior players by next summer who have consistently underperformed or are regularly injured. We have 7 youngsters to step up and 7 new ones to sign to have a 25 man outfield squad required to compete.

So in answer to your question May 2019 because it's the quality of the historic squad not the manager that is the problem!

The OP here is an unfortunate example of how the sad side of modern football has affected some fans. They expect results instantly and become impatient if a team who avoided relegation last year isn’t challenging for the playoffs.

Honestly, please, anyone reading this who feels MW should leave, think for a moment. What benefit is there by starting again? What advantage will be gained by taking us back 12months?

Warburton inherited this squad of players. He’s not even close to having the team he would want to ply eever Saturday. This man deserves the time to build something no one else was ever allowed to.

Enjoy us not being in a relegation fight and smile with optimism for what will come with time.

He just need more time he can't do everything in one transfers I stand by MW he not doing great but our club looks 10x better then it was in the last few seasons
I'll be happy just finishing anywhere in top half of the table

Let’s take this out of football.

Say you want to completely redecorate and refurbish your house. Now if your in the same situation as most people you can’t do it all at once because you can’t afford the cost. So you space it out over a couple of years. Now you might think ok I’ll start by getting some new sofas in but you can’t get the new ones in without getting rid of the old ones because you don’t have room. So you get 1 piece in at a time until you fully replace it with the furniture you want. It might look out of sorts while you’re in the middle of doing it but at the end you think yeah it was worth it. Now imagine if you run out of money halfway through doing it? Your room is a mix of two different types of furniture and looks a mess, that’s just your lounge, what happens if you started other rooms too? Imagine if you got kicked out halfway through? Whoever’s in there would have to start again, with different tastes and different ideas.

Yes give him more time to buy more didi men from Scotland who can play attractive football in the centre of the field but struggle with the EFL physical game?
Surly the board must be concerned about giving him money to spend?

Ward is getting the cold shoulder treatment now so it seems. Warburton seems to have his click of yes men. Ward is the sort of player we need on the pitch. He is buzy pacey gets stuck in and can score a goal. Murphy is like an overladen bus pulling away from a bustop but plays every week. Mckay gets subbed in strange circumstances and does not figure when circumstances are made for him. Cummjngs has not been given a proper chance i his best position. Cohen and velios are taking up vital squad positions. Harsh words re Chris you might think but did anyone notice last game of season he pulled up injured near the end. Time on his playing should have been halted and rewarded with development coaching at the club. So can warburton manage situations and players? Not really so the origanal poster has a point. Look at Burnley under Dyche a manager who most ln here did not want a few years ago. He sets his side up simply and firstly hard to beat. thoughts???

Red 1, this is exactly the reason we are where we are, no patience from some people. The guy hasn't even been here a year yet. A manager is not just for Christmas eh:).

We are improved on last season, that is progress whether you think so or not. I think if people can wait till the end of the season at the very least, hopefully have a good Jan window and strengthen where we need to. He's bringing in youngsters for the long term with a different style of play, calm, breathe and give it time.

I'm sure everyone was happy with a mid table finish at the start of the season, what's changed?

Ginger you do not say why ward is frozen out. Velios frozen out mckay not utilised, cummings not playing. Ward is one hell of a player pace and guts. You can say what you like but warburton is no motivator, poor squad management and clueless in defence organisation. Please watch the Bristol goals particularly the first. Formation retreating no tackle just an invitation to shoot. Rest my case.

As I keep saying Warbo has no plan B.
He want the players to adapt to his pretty tippy happy football which is great when it does work but when it doesn't he can't adapt the style of play to suit individual strengths.
My way or the highway tactics costing us games and I can't see a great run with the up and coming fixtutes

Why is it always about time and patience on this site hmmm?
The man is a clueless harlequin who is no better than the Door Knocker Salesman of old selling tea clothes.
Some people on here claim the breadman is intelligent 🤓.
He’s stubborn single minded and doesn’t know how to adapt his team.
Back in the day if my officer led me to the frontline with the Warburton tactics and cavalier attitude myself and fellow comrades would not be here. thanks heavens he is only a PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL MANAGER.

Had Rangers fans never mentioned “no plan B” - there wouldn’t be a single person on this forum continually going on about it 😂.

There often is a plan B. A change of shape, personnel or how we play. If you can’t see that during a game *Specsavers joke incoming* .

Rutland, I was actually replying to the original poster Red One(ok I put Red 1), where he is talking about how much longer we give the manager etc. not your post:)

I agree, it would be good to see Ward playing, he gives everything and is a real battler. But in answer to your question, I can only speculate, but maybe others are playing better on the training ground or he is not 100% fit. We could second guess all day, does he ever get asked these things in interviews? other managers do.

LDN Red, completely agree, its hilarious.

Can we setup up a forum xmas bingo with, 'tippy tappy football', 'no plan B' etc I'm sure we will all be shouting 'House' on Sunday morning.

Maybe someone can define a plan B that doesn't involve changing personnel or formations both of which he has done already.

Maybe we should teach our team where Row Z is as that's where the opposition cannot score from when we do not have possession?
Simple Plan? Simples!
