Finally? It was only suggested 2 days ago. Never known such doom and gloom. 7th in the league and at last got a squad and manager with some purpose. Cheer up Forest fans please.

Hopefully he'll find his fitness and fire us to the top.

Contract means nothing with such a chaotic Maverick lying owner. Burke signed a new contract a few months ago!

Yes and he got 13m for a lad with a handful of starts and bags of potential,
not the real deal just potential. It's great business.

Nick26.it wasn't a doom and gloom statement; I said finally as it was reported he was close to signing it on transfer deadline day. then it went quiet. Jeez.

It's a win win for Britt. If he continues having injury problems he'll still be handsomely paid and no one will take a gamble on him for the sort of money he's worth so we'll be stuck with him. If he stays fit and scores goals, which to be I think is a given, then a prem team will take a £15-£20m punt on him within the next year and he'll double/ triple his wages. I'm hoping he scores enough to get us promoted because that's the only way we'll see a fully fit Assombolonga in a red shirt this time next year. Let us pray that Britt has paid enough penance for whatever he did to offend the God of football injuries!
