The Post are suggesting Olympaicos will sign Carvalho in the summer.

Agree0 Disagree1

12 Apr 2019 21:20:47
I think Jorge Mendes will be involved in that one. A spot of triple representation,me thinks!

12 Apr 2019 21:39:01
Surprise,surprise?
The only way to balance the books, but how long will the authorities let it happen?
Other championship sides are bound to complain that we are avoiding the restraints of ffp.

12 Apr 2019 23:22:54
Mad Mel tactics. Buy ground off yourself for x2 it’s market value??!!!

12 Apr 2019 23:29:12
They won’t complain when he looks like a world beater in that league, which knowing our luck is bound to happen πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

13 Apr 2019 11:07:59
Now 2 tone get real he'd struggle to look like a world beater in our ladies team. We've been had good and proper with him and his 2 Portuguese amigos. Wed struggle to find a buyer for 120 grand let alone 12 million.

13 Apr 2019 11:46:46
Syred I know what you mean but how many times have we got rid of a dud only to see them improve as soon as they leave. How embarrassing is it to have him as our record signing- compared to Keane, collymore, pvh etc.

13 Apr 2019 15:59:47
Most players that leave the championship to go to Greece will improve massively, difference in quality is huge like Walker in lower leagues

11 Apr 2019 11:03:16
Just been reading a report that the owner's of PSG could be interested in buying a championship club and it mentions forest. If only .

11 Apr 2019 11:56:09
Bit late for April Fools.😁

11 Apr 2019 13:46:57
Annesley I think that we have got a decent owner ,to be fair.

11 Apr 2019 18:46:34
A lot better owner than Fawaz. It’s a pity we cannot get a decent manager, one who plays attractive high pressure football.

12 Apr 2019 08:54:04
Well our owner traded his Tanker Toys so why not secure the oil for his new fleet? After all he is getting the ground oven ready to increase the value of his football asset!

12 Apr 2019 09:39:18
Let's just say f. it get Davis a decent psychologist have him back lol

12 Apr 2019 18:52:10
We might then be known as "Forest Saint Germain"
Have to admit it has a certain ring to it!!!

11 Apr 2019 10:58:16
I have just been reading an item on triple representation. I didn't even know that it was a thing! I think it may go some way towards explaining some of our nonsensical contracts in recent times. When will the footballing authorities actually wake up and exert something resembling authority! Agents (insert expletive here) are being allowed to kill our game like a resistant virus!

{Ed002's Note - The rules are being revised (again).}

Agree2 Disagree0

11 Apr 2019 15:50:45
Should not be allowed because of conflicts of interest. How can an agent negotiate with himself on behalf of 3 different parties.

{Ed002's Note - You are going to have to give me an example?}

12 Apr 2019 07:47:20
When Eric was sold ,his agent also acted for Forest AND Hull. There's only one person benefiting from that scenario,as far as I can see.

11 Apr 2019 17:43:11
Eric Lihaj's acted for Forest AND Hull as well as Eric himself.

{Ed002's Note - That would be Ian Ryder. There is fundmentally no issue with it if all parties are satisfield. Many clubs do not have a negotiator of their own and use third parties to do so on their behalf. Far from ideal but if anyone is unhappy with the deal then they can step away.}

12 Apr 2019 12:38:07
Thanks for clarification Ed002.πŸ‘

09 Apr 2019 22:09:38
The big question will be how long we give MON before getting a modern manager next season?

Agree5 Disagree5

09 Apr 2019 23:52:04
Hope he doesn’t get that long Jaydog.
It wouldn’t bother me if they bombed him out tomorrow and put Brazil in charge for the rest of the season.

10 Apr 2019 13:36:35
Depends on the owner I guess. If he has doubts then get rid before he spends on new players so the new man can bring in his own. If he wants to stick with MON then he will stick with him.
I always though Jokanavic was the best option but Maronakis is putting up the cash so will make the decisions. Personally I can't see MON taking us forward

10 Apr 2019 21:35:19
Question is how many managers do we go through thought fans were sick of the constant sacking and hiring of managers, I know o Neil ain't everyone's cup of tea but then again none of the last 10 managers have been , so the big question is who would the fans be happy with and how long would they get before it's time for their head to be put on the chopping block .

11 Apr 2019 08:48:27
I thunj we need some stability at the club. No manager/coach can just wave a magic wand and hey presto premier league. Inconsistent team performance is down to constant manager change. However if Pep is available then you can forget everything I've said.

08 Apr 2019 15:54:52
Rumours that there has been a bust up between MON and Gueddy. Also that Robinson not left out for footballing reasons. Not good if true.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Apr 2019 16:06:03
Geddy has done very little so far and tends to lose the ball a lot. Robinson gets too many yellow cards. We will have to wait to find the inside story.

08 Apr 2019 19:54:50
Geddy and Watson should never have been signed, they both past it along with the majority of karankas panic buys

09 Apr 2019 20:51:38
Very worrying isn’t it especially when the replacement manager then goes on an even more irrational spending spree with the likes of Bonatini, Pele and Wague. It’s like some bizarre epidemic at the club that has no cure. Some of the managers before Karanka also suffered from this affliction

10 Apr 2019 00:49:54
2 star my opinion is the owners for all there good intentions, need to slow down, they seem to be trying to rush us to the prem.
It helps if you pick a manager and trust them and don't interfere.
They are on their third manager in two seasons a mirror of what they do at olympiacos, difference is it's not Greece and we don't have champions league money to make mistakes in the transfer market.
With ffp it's so important to get the right manager in and buy a few quality players rather than sign anyone whoes available or over the hill and expect results.
They will have to sit down at the seasons end and change or they will fail,
The wage bill will have to be cut drastically or trouble will arrive

10 Apr 2019 06:39:35
Agree . We need to take stock a bit as it’s getting silly again now.

10 Apr 2019 10:57:26
Good post ff with very valid points

10 Apr 2019 12:50:42
Yes, no blame on managers past or present. The club has sourced and sanctioned all of the signings, with very little success.

10 Apr 2019 16:32:21
The majority of players signed by MON are either on 18 month contracts or on loan. He's got 3 centre backs, and enough people on here were moaning about our lack of a central defender pairing just before he got them, and they started really well. I say again if we can stay in to top 10 that will be an improvement on last year, and at least we are not worried about relegation any more. 13 weeks is not enough in my books to judge any manager by, so let's not press the ridiculous panic-button again. Teams take a while to build. It took England long enough to produce a World Cup winning side, and my view is that in the Championship it's the hardest job of all to get in the Premier League then stay there. Forest have never had parachute payments like many clubs have. Krankie was disposed of, or walked, far too quickly. Owners have to be patient. I have my doubts that Mr. M. will be.

10 Apr 2019 17:30:23
Good post bsred.
The majority we sign are short term or loans.
I don't want to see anothe4 loan player play this season, including colback, mcginn showed how good he really is and at 40k a week forget it.
Lets play the players who will be here next season, let's face it the loans are not good enough to consider signing anyway,so ditch them, send them home early on full pay and give everyone a chance to impress without the disruption of loan players

11 Apr 2019 11:59:13
I'd agree if we could recall all those we have out on loan too. Just contracted Forest players, playing.πŸ‘

08 Apr 2019 15:50:57
A bloke on that COYR Forest Forum reckons that there has been a bust up between MON and Gueddy. Also reckons Robinson not left out for footballing reasons. Not good if true.

Louis Walsh has been taken on a trial basis. Not sure if that will work out!

03 Apr 2019 14:29:29

04 Apr 2019 18:07:33
Taking only picking irish players to a whole new level.

07 Apr 2019 07:53:59
I think he will make the pitch his own as he is an artist

01 Apr 2019 11:14:14
The lad at the local shop says Direby may be looking to ground share with us from next season!

Agree0 Disagree3

01 Apr 2019 16:11:36
They can have the bit round the running track, outside the pitch then.

01 Apr 2019 17:35:47
They can have the wet bit 20 yards behind the Trent end.

02 Apr 2019 05:54:29
Why would they want to share with us?

{Ed001's Note - check the date on the post mate.}

03 Apr 2019 15:48:29
Gotcha Burncross!

04 Apr 2019 18:19:46
April Fools Day finished at midday on the 1st.

06 Apr 2019 19:13:24
Or today after that performance.

31 Mar 2019 14:21:44
The latest rumour is Martain is looking to sign a 48year old in the summer, he is called Tommy Johnson.

He is a striking coach.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2019 22:01:07
We don't need his type upsetting the harmony in the squad. He'll have them working to rule and on a 3 day week!

31 Mar 2019 23:00:20
He wants him as a scout. With his remit focusing on British players.

01 Apr 2019 20:33:44
Shop steward more like getting them to strike! Hahs

02 Apr 2019 22:43:19
Sooner have amy johnson!!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚βœˆβœˆ

09 Apr 2019 12:55:30
Aps: she's dead.

30 Mar 2019 10:02:19
Yacob is Rumoured to be wanted by the owners other team, will we get anything, if so how much could we expect.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Mar 2019 14:36:36
Pinch of salt time, but we do have far too many midfielders.
