I think I'm right in saying we should have been given more credit for our unique circumstances in getting promoted without the benefit of parachute payments ( unlike Fulham and Bournemouth, yo yo clubs). Plus our allowed losses of £61 million as opposed to the £105 million of the rest of the Prem.
Anyway it is what it is. Let's draw on this obvious unfairness and win the remaining games to show 'em and render the appeal irrelevant.
By the way, 4 points equals a win and a draw! Let's keep it in perspective! COYR!

So 4 points it is, break the rules you get punished, simple really. Look forget Everton and Man City and Chelsea we can't change it so need to suck it up and get on with it.
Whether you like Cooper or Nuno or blame either or for the football or lack of points, it doesn't matter. Whether you think Marinkas shits rainbows or think he's at fault for overspending it doesn't matter. I liked Cooper and wanted him to stay, i personally think he couldn't handle another season of lots of players out and lots in, hence the rumour he had spoken to Palace in the summer. Think he told Marinkas too keep it settled but was told your the coach get on with it, also if the Palace rumour was true then these could have been factors in the break down between him and Marinkas. But he's gone we move in. Nuno, well not a massive fan to be honest, think it hasn't improved he had a better shot in the end than Cooper as it was a clean slate with every player. Example Cooper had apparently told Carragher that he would turn up to training and there would be new players in he didn't know were coming. Also had a world Cup winning defender brought in who he couldn't even get on the bench as I suppose he had others I that position who had fought hard to claim that spot. Nuno didn't have any loyalties and could pick whoever he wanted, fresh start. Now yes the football was predictable and ponderous due to the factors mentioned which I believe hindered Cooper and I also think Nuno has one hand tied behind his back making his role a difficult one. I mean we bring in 2 loans in January and have barely seem them, if Nuno had requested these thi king they'd make a difference he'd have used them more. I just think in the situation we in we need someone with a bit va va voom. Okay okay I'm ranting a bit, wanted to some of this for a long time but it seems on here your not allowed a differing opinion or you get shot down. Okay Okay I'm waffling not getting to the point. Look its 4 points we got 2 home games coming up we need to win so the players need to take inspiration from Neco, Yates and Dominguez, MGW and drag yourself off the pitch after every game. There may not be a lot of skill in some in the squad but work your bollocks off and you might just save our club. Forget other clubs and concentrate on us. If Nuno can keep us up then whether I like him or not he'd have done his job. I've knocked us recently but what's the point it hasn't changed anything we need to smash the atmosphere, will the team over the line because quite simply none of us want championship football again. Whether it's corrupt or unfair if you don't like the prem then staying in the championship means no ambition, mid table finishes, average players because what's the point in that if the club thought the same then where would that ambition come from. We all love the reds so got to believe we can do it CCOOOYYYRR.

Well that could have been worse than it was. We now have to get proper 3-point scores on the doors, something we have failed to do consistently ALL season. It stagers me to think that we are now going to do just that, when we really should have been doing it from the get go: not 10 games or so from the season end.
Personally, when I look back at the performances so far, even with taking into account the awful ref decisions, we have been nowhere near the standard needed to be a premier league team. Whether that's the players, the coaching team, or a combination of both, I don't know. Personally think we will struggle to stay up, I hope we do, but think it will be difficult based on previous performances.

Not saying he's a bad player Rogie, in fact he's one of the few Premier League standard footballers we've got. Just saying that it's highly unlikely he will score many goals and we can't rely on him in that department. Also he should handover the free kicks to someone else and cut out the Ali shuffle.
18 Mar 2024 13:41:57
That shuffle makes me laugh looks like he's going to kick for a try and most of the time looks like one 🤣.

Morning all. Another week with Nuno still in charge. How long can he hang on given the abysmal run of form and lack of goals? Are we still paying cooper gardening leave? Would he do any worse? Just a thought.
18 Mar 2024 10:04:38
Nunos going nowhere and Cooper's in the past thank god so let's please move on to the more important things like the ffp points deduction and what Nuno can try and get out of this team going forward.
18 Mar 2024 11:06:36
Do you think SC would come back into this s##tshow, with the relief of leaving, and the pressure being of. If you saw SC know, he would look like Harry Styles 😄😄.
18 Mar 2024 22:18:10
Love it Barron but very true, a very deflated and over stressed Cooper in the end, not many could work under these circumstances, Nuno will know that too by now.
17 Mar 2024 20:43:03
Absolutely 100% spot on Dreamon. Too many players in the squad not good enough for Premier League football 👍.
17 Mar 2024 12:09:26
Does Awonyi, s injury record make him a poor signing?
Your main striker must surely be available for 30 games in the PL per season to be considered a success.
O k you can be injured, anyone can but not time after time and often for long period.
CARLO.
17 Mar 2024 18:46:02
Remember Kevin Campbell carlo?
He spent the first two years injured then came good
Players get injured, some more than others.

One thing it proves, praying gets you no where!.

Not going to be popular for posting this but f**k it it’s an opinion site. So, wether we stay in the prem or end up back in the championship, l now think it’s time to
cash in on Awoniyi. The man cannot stay fit, every goal he scores bobbles in off him and we can’t afford to keep players that are only fit for 10-15 games per season.
16 Mar 2024 18:25:53
Bye Bye, Nuno. Get rid. Taking attackers off and going defensive when we can't defend and the opposition couldn't score in a brothel. That said, Cooper used to do the same. Incompetence from manager and the players.
16 Mar 2024 17:14:35
Anyone else considered that Nuno would like to be sacked?
16 Mar 2024 06:11:52
I wonder why the premier league won’t release our points deduction fate until Monday now? It was supposed to be Friday at the latest. Is it so they can adjust the points deficit accordingly given the result at Luton? Call me cynical but something doesn’t seem right here. It’s like they are determined to see us relegated.
{Ed001's Note - it is not the Prem. It is an independent tribunal.}
16 Mar 2024 07:30:06
Maybe there trying to defuse an already explosive game, if both teams know the sanctions, it could carry onto the pitch?.
16 Mar 2024 23:35:38
It's actually a farce edd bought on by the premier league cus they are worried about the government getting involved, so someone has to pay immediately, when before it was a point deduction the following year
Made a pigs ear of it as usual.
15 Mar 2024 23:17:10
We should be talking about playing luton tomorrow, but it seems like some other agenda?
