Thank god the international break is over 2 meaningless friendlies now back to the business end of the Premiership

The vultures are circling for MGW and Murrilo as summer transfer targets but I think that when we stay up they will want to stay and be part of our future

But both of them are crucial to our survival we need them to be at their best against Palace on Saturday as 3 pts are a must and the Londoners do not travel well

My team and formation to beat them on Saturday

Sels

Williams
Obamadele
Murrilo
Toffelo

Yates
Dominguez

Elanga
MGW
Reyna.

Wood.

D3rbyRed, if we go down and Leeds come up expect a bid from them for Neco he's well thought of there, one player who won't be going anywhere is Yates.
It's funny how football can compound our problems in one game, Palace will likely play Henderson in goal, failing in getting him seemed to cause all the problems in that position,

Since the beginning of the premier League there has been 50 clubs in the league, but how many have or had a ground with a name ending in PARK for example Aston villa, Villa park. robbie savage said there was 19 clubs that have been in the prem that a ground ending in PARK.

Evening Skegs. I seem to remember reading that you have Bowie's mobile number? If so, can you please forward on the following to him for me? I would love to put this issue to bed and move on:

Hi Bowie. I'm sorry that I caused offence to you with my recent post. I thought I was being amusing, but obviously you didn't find it so. Lesson learnt on my part. I have always enjoyed your posts for some time before becoming a member of this site. You speak from the heart and I love that. No-one, particularly me, is trying to force you away from this site. Quite the opposite - the messages of support for you have been overwhelming. Please come back and let's re-boot and move on. Apologies again if I caused offence. Al (Legless).

26 Mar 2024 23:18:02
Bowie apologises for swearing at you mate it's not like him he's a great person and takes things to heart he comes on here to get on with everyone no favourites and doesn't take sides that's what's great about the bloke I think everything on here as got him down just lately hopefully he will come back on he will be a big miss.

I can't help thinking we've made a mistake appealing. On the one hand, I like the rebellious nature and will illustrate how broken everything is when relegation is decided post season the courts. On the other though, I can't help feeling we are going to get docked more points and it will weigh on the players minds when we need them focused. No such thing as a free hit and if anything, we've already seen how vindictive the PL can be and how penalties are made up on the spot. Hope I'm proven wrong.

Agree4 0Disagree

26 Mar 2024 18:18:36
Be our luck to get an additional deduction

Anyone see our wage bill, somewhere in region of 95mil a year! Puts us tenth in league on spend yet we in bottom 3.

Agree3 0Disagree

26 Mar 2024 19:24:30
I'm thinking the same way as you RSAN. I'm in two minds about this appeal too - but overall I'm erring on the side of the fact that we could be making a big mistake. Maybe it would have been best to take the points deduction 'on the chin', draw a line in the sand and then move on with everyone knowing where we stand.

26 Mar 2024 10:19:28
If the reports are true about sarri this is bad for maranakis Nuno hasn't helped himself with poor run and zero points but if your going for a new manager make sure you get him nunos definitely not going to be up for a fight now thinking he's going to be sacked so not good maranakis you might as well sack him now and let someone else step in total mess with 10 games to go and everyone needing to concentrate on what job needs doing.

Agree3 0Disagree

26 Mar 2024 10:44:15

26 Mar 2024 13:55:42
It doesn't sit right with me when the club offers another manager a job when we've already got one. A bit disrespectful to the current manager. We allegedly did it when Cooper was manager as well.

Agree2 0Disagree

26 Mar 2024 14:07:51
All this about replacing the manager/ coach should have been left to the end of the season. Mr Marinakis trigger finger is itching, and at the moment we don't know if we will be in the Premier or Championship. If the championship, we may need a manager/ coach with a proven record of getting teams in the play-offs, I wonder where we could find such a man🤔🤔.

Agree5 0Disagree

26 Mar 2024 14:15:34
And what happens if the bloke gets us back up to premiership Barron back to square one because he can't cut it in premiership you really need to get past it mate you will never see the bloke back why maranakis owns the club thank god we should be concentrating on the future not the past 🙄🙄.

Agree1 0Disagree

26 Mar 2024 15:11:37
Yes Skegs, we should have been qualifying for Europe when we were restricted to spending less than all the other teams in the division. OBVIOUSLY! 🙄

Changing managers mid-season when we were not looking like going down, at risk to our position in the Prem, was definitely the sensible thing to do. OBVIOUSLY! 🤡.

Agree5 0Disagree

26 Mar 2024 15:16:25
Exactly right Barron. Why do it mid-season? Stupid decision. It makes you wonder how these guys who own clubs became billionaires. Surely they aren't all crooks using football to launder money? 🙃.

Agree5 0Disagree

26 Mar 2024 15:16:43
Skegjay just wondering if a manager/ coach who got us promoted after years, upon years in the championship is not good enough can you say a manager/ coach who would do the same?. You seem to love to pile on when it fails, but have no-one who you would like to see incharge of Nottingham Forest?.

Message for Bowie. I've just read your post on the discussion page. I'm sorry that I've so enraged you with my joke about your sleeping habits which has led to you wanting to leave this site. I thought it was mildly amusing, but obviously not. You're obviously a sensitive man which is fine - I will respect that more in the future. I like your posts so hope that you don't leave. OMG, someone who doesn't know me doesn't like me! Just give it back but try to make it about what people post rather than personal nonsense and it's all just jokes and footy chat. Great distraction.

Reyna looks a good player and is versatile being either a winger or attacking midfielder. As such he is a good option to give Nuno alternatives to Elanga, CHO or MGW ( or additional).

My old man was in the army as well, Stevie. Violent, tyrannical dictator he was. Had a habit of punching me and my brother as well when we was kids (and my mum on occasions) until I put him in intensive care when I was 18. Haven't spoken to him or seen him since. I did 2 1/ 2 years for it. It was worth everyday and I'd do it again if I saw him.

Agree5 0Disagree

{Ed007's Note - You're more than a man than your he ever was mate 🙏 And I'd bet your skidmark of a dad used his "PTSD" from the army as an excuse. Most people that voluntarily sign up to join the army are psychopaths who aren't wired up right to function in a normal civilised society.
Look at the amount of serial killers that were in the military across the world.}

25 Mar 2024 23:11:33
Young Rebeiro might be worth a punt if we are short up front. On fire for his national (U21) team. Give the lad a few minutes. He looks like a real talent to me.

I would start with Reyna if he isn't jet-lagged, for no other reason than to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result is bonkers. Give it a go and if he looks like a fish out of water, we have 5 subs. We are desperate for goals and creativity.

Agree3 0Disagree

26 Mar 2024 06:53:54
The UK does already, Cyclist. We sell weapons to Saudi Arabia, Israel and give them away to Ukraine, to name a few. When Israel commit genocide with them we turn a blind eye to it. The hypocrisy of it is we invaded Libya based on genocide. That was a lie as well.

They're going to wait until the end of the season anyway see if we stay up or not. Marinakissmyarse needs to stop running the club as he does in Greece, him and his cronies. But a leapord and spots and all that, so nothing will change. Reckon Cooper told him as much, let's keep it settled no need for changes this season. Reckon he was told to button it and just coach not manage, hence the falling out and disagreements.

I see bolly has been injured again, just when we need everyone fit and able. Big mistake buying so many African players as most all go to the confederation competition every year. It wouldn't be so bad if they fell in line with the world cup and euros every four years, but take six weeks out and international breaks they don't play a lot of club football. You don't have to try to turn every thread into one about Cooper. I know it's hard, but if you try hard enough, you might be able to kick the habit one day. 👊🤛👀🤜👊.
