Most of the fans are saying Rowett or Pearson so if i was Fawaz i would at least try and ease the tension slightly by going for one of these.

Rowett has ruled himself out and I think Pearson would last about a week working with Fawaz, so where's the point in that. I love how some fans say they don't want any of the realistic candidates for the job. Time for a reality check I'm afraid, nobody that is well placed to get a 'proper' job in football, is going to consider Forest at present. So, we live with who we get and support the team.

Tend to agree with GazzaRed. Who with any brain cells in the right place would want to work under Fawaz? So it'll be a foreigner or someone who can't get a job anywhere else and takes a short contract to make money.

To be fair kenny has a bloody good win percentage over the whole of his managerial career 43%. at wolves he had 46% I am shocked at those stats.

I was shocked at how many games he's managed and to have that win ratio is pretty damn good. obviously because he isn't a name many will write him off.

Our last manager was a real gentleman and lasted far beyond what the fans would of liked, yes that's right the fans wanted another manager gone way before fawaz pulled the trigger.

I'm probably courting controversy with this statement but I genuinely hope the greek pavarotti can call on a better manager. Never have been and never will be a warburton fan. Not the sort of manager for a relegation dogfight and think he'll walk away at the thought of League 1 football anyway.

Collymore only after lining his own pockets with a cushty new role. He can spout off all he likes about this player and that but he knows aswell as we do that it will make no difference. I can think of far more experienced sporting directors I'd prefer at the club. Vulcan I have made the same statement for the past few weeks on a Facebook NFFC site and got slated for it with comments like " we are 7th in the league and you want the manager sacked. Moron" I predicted we'd get turned over by Burton too. Fact is Karanka isn't up to it. He's one dimensional and stands on the touchline clueless. I don't think the Big Greek will give him more funds to fritter away in January given his previous poor choices. Why is it Cloughie can find gems kicking around in non league football but we have a managed that can't get a 13.5m buy to do what he's supposed to do. Burton last night reminded me of the hunger we last had under Frank Clark and BC before that. We should have moved mountains to get Nigel on board. He's shrewd, wouldn't bankrupt the club with nonsense buys and he instills confidence and belief in players

Statetheobvious How long has Lampard had with Direby? Still bagged more wins, goals scored and none of the resources AK has had. Early days or not AK completely unconvincing. He has been lucky we have bagged some draws. More luck than judgement. And to think the bread man had no plan b, I'm yet to see Karanka offer anything different. DF managed to create a tight defence with limited resources. I have always said 8 games and if no improvement move him on. Hard league or not, we should be looking at top 3.

Calm down fellow reds. We are barely a week into the transfer window. Realistically any new manager worth his salt would already have targets they are scouting for their current clubs that may fit into the price range and style of forest. I'm as eager as everyone to find out who the manager will be. I am checking this site 20 times a day. We aren't dealing with Fawaz now and we have to be confident that the new owners are more clued up. I fully believe there is cash available for players in this window. Watch this space
