I don't want to tempt fate but Ryan Mendes looks quality.

1.) 04 Sep 2015 22:06:06
You proberbly are tempting fate Lars looked quality scored all then goals in holland and look what happend to him. Just saying.

2.) 05 Sep 2015 06:44:20
What did happen to Lars?some people forget that Pearce bought him and said he wouldn't feature last season as he wants to get him up to speed as a future player but due to injuries he was thrown in at the deep end but didn't really get a chance.

Quiff, type his name into the internet and it says he is a Forest player😊

4.) 01 Sep 2015 19:23:31
think we have until 8pm to sort things if the relevant deals were notified before 6pm?

Lukas Jutkiewicz and 1.5m bid for lansbury from Burnley being talked about. I really hope this isn't true. A pretty poor striker that's going to get nowhere near 15/20 goals a season. (and 1.5m is basically nothing these days)

1.) 27 May 2015 14:12:51
Knowing us we will probably accept it. Still heard nothing about QPR's appeal against FFP. We need to know what is going off

2.) 27 May 2015 16:08:24
I would accept I the offer as we need a striker and I would say he's beet er then what we have at the minute also I don't think landsbury want to be here

3.) 27 May 2015 16:18:55
I don't think this lad is an out an out striker more of a player who can hold the ball and bring in others! A srong lad and the ball will stick (something we bin missing???) I do think we have a place for this type of player but!!! After being offered 4million for Lansbury last season i don't think the sums add up, even at 4 million that's pricing the lad at 2.5 million!! No thank you not at that sort of money.coyr

4.) 27 May 2015 17:29:22
If its a player plus 3million to 3.5 million then do the deal weather its with burnley or other teams.
Lansbury wasn't consistant last season and at times an ignigma with his silly cards and suspensions. Not an example a captain should set.

5.) 27 May 2015 17:30:18
Jaj The Football League & QPR have both agreed that an independent committee will decide on the Punishment if any QPR will face, will be no court case as both have also agreed there will be no appeals, if no penalty than the Football will have to abandon the current FFP rules. However it is unlikely to be heard before the start of tge season.

Not sure Lansbury would go to Burnley.

6.) 28 May 2015 10:24:12
I don't think the QPR appeal has anything to do with out case. They are not saying that FFP is unfair, they are arguing that they complied, as the loan which took them over, was repaid in the same season.

On Lansbury, to the poster that said he doesn't set a good example as skipper. In the second half of last season, when he was captain, he picked up 3 yellow cards and scored 8 goals. That's very good for a central midfielder!!

I hope DF knows what he's doing ? He's left the three new lads and Vaughan who had a good game Saturday on the bench....brave in my opinion

1.) 15 Sep 2015 22:18:30
I guess he knows how to manage a football team, unlike many on this site!

2.) 15 Sep 2015 22:24:05
I'll reply to my own post.....fair play DF....

I remember when it used to be fun and exciting when the transfer window was open. I wish it was all over now as I'm sick of hearing rubbish stories and things being drawn out. If lansbury and Antonio are going then let them go (as much as we shouldn't) as the constant merry go round of rumours is getting annoying. And as for the stories about players such as Barton, what's the point in even reporting interest in players we have no chance of signing on a 10k or less a week contract. I don't even blame freedman, he must be as sick of it all as we are

quiff_richard

1.) 19 Aug 2015 19:09:17
Lansbury isn't going anywhere.

2.) 19 Aug 2015 20:09:41
The transfer window is fun If you are the team spending Millions on quality players, but when you are the team in dire trouble and have 2/3 players that are wanted by other clubs, Then it becomes squeaky bum time.

12 Aug 2015 17:39:39
Surely Barton wouldn't agree to the 10k a week we're allowed to pay for wages right?

Akpom hat trick? Maybe we've done to him what we did to Ramsey?

quiff_richard

1.) 16 Jul 2015 09:24:33
Hopefully we'll be offered more prem loan players, Akpom, Gardener and the Swansea lad (memory gone again) all seem to have benefitted. Rumour up here is Jordan Ibe could be sent on loan again, do you think back to the Championship, Ed or lower league Prem? Then again he may as well stay with Liverpool. 😃

{Ed001's Note - go for Ojo if you want a player from Liverpool. He is definitely available for a Championship team to loan.}

2.) 16 Jul 2015 09:26:18
Modou Barrow, good old google.

15 May 2015 14:38:27
Nicky Maynard is out of contract this summer.would be a great signing on a free.

quiff_richard

1.) 15 May 2015 15:24:51
Could be on his way to Huddersfield in a swap deal for a defender.

We don't want Jutkowiecz.definitely not the answer.look at his record. i'd actually rather just have a bit of cash for Patterson if he HAS to go. Play who we have over Jutkowiecz.

Considering how hard it's going to be for us to sign players next season then keeping Mackie (and possibly Vaughan) definitely should be given some thought.

I live in newcastle and so as a forest fan get asked about darlow and lascelles quite a bit and my answer is always the same. Darlow is a decent keeper, a bit cocky but I don't see that as a bad thing, he'll be a decent back up. Lascelles on the other hand will be lucky to get close to their starting line up, maybe the odd cup game? (the fans weren't too impressed with him pre season). But in this day and age for a combined fee of around £5 million then it's not a bad deal for either teams. Cost them nothing in the grand scheme of things and we really only needed them for one season as without Pearce in charge we had the team to go up last year. He got it all wrong. Any team that at one point could have had britt, Antonio, and ince as their front three should have been walking it, however instead he played Antonio as a wing back and left ince on the bench. we missed a real opportunity last season in my opinion.

I agree. I'd like to keep Mackie and would take Thomas in a heartbeat, I predict a huge season for him personally.

Ince was a very good signing, just not for us because we didn't let him go out and play. He's obviously up there with the best championship players, top five easily in my opionion. Unfortunately psycho just didn't use him properly. I'm sure we had him at about the same time we had Antonio as a wing back. You have Antonio and Ince in your squad, two of the best attacking players in the league and one plays basically in a defensive role and one sits on the bench. I think that sums up the first half of our season.
