In relation to the above post Big Norm joined Barnsley GK Coach a few weeks back Wigley is Reqd along with fairclough also expecting Lansbury to sign new deal at club shortly

1.) Chris Fairclough was part of BD's team previously, and an ex school friend of his had expected him to come back with BD, but he had got fed up with BD and is now youth devt coach at Charlton. Maybe he'd come back to work with SP? Would be a good part of the team.

2.) I hope so re Lansbury pay him what millers on plus a bit. He's the heartbeat and future of our team along with Pato.

3.) I agree, Lansbury is a must. I don't know if you will agree, but Paterson also plays much better (Not that he is a bad player, the opposite), when Lansbury is alongside him. We have the nucleus of a good team next season. Darlow, Lichaj, Lascelles, Hobbs, Wilson, Reid, Paterson, Lansbury, Cohen add some of the youngsters and a couple of strikers who know how to score. The Jury still out on the 2 Algerians, but give them a chance. We may not make it this season, but fingers crossed. With the above the future looks good. Oh and Vaughan would be a good permanent. 4.) Wilson is a huge concern to me. He is very talented and a very good organiser at the back, but i'm worried about how many games we will actually get out of him.

Wilson stayed injury free at Celtic and his first spell at forest

6.) Very good post and some very good points Scottish Red - good to see / hear some realistic optimism.

7.) Its great news that players are coming back but I can't help feeling its 4 or 5 games to late.
I still hold out hope for the play offs but its still a big ask.
