just heard, hull city declined a deal for sonny aluko from forest, also heard dougie is looking for a striker.

Nobody knew about the lack of a termination clause in the contract? Did anybody at Forest read it? How did it take so long to find out? And why can't Forest sell Paterson instead of having to leave him at Huddersfield on loan? Beggars belief really. Shambles. How much work wasted lining up the two foreign strikers? Talk about right hand not knowing what left hand is doing!

Check the statement on the official site, there was a termination clause.

According to the OS, there was no administrative error and the termination clause has been activated.

Selling pato would have made no difference though as he isn't counted in the squad numbers at the moment anyway. And in all fairness we are only going on the word of the Huddersfield manager as to whether we could have sold him to whoever or not during the window. Nothing's come out our end.

Just remember with the Dutch lad we took him on loan because his club needed to reduce their wage bill for this year. Therefore its quite reasonable to expect them to want to arrange another loan before terminating the existing agreement with Forest?

The fact this went to the wire is hardly a Forest admin fault!
