We're after Musonda from Chelsea on loan according to Telegraph. Not sure if he's a forward or attacking midfielder. Wonder what that says about the likes of Zach.

Actually there's no chance, is there? "Yeah I'm an old friend of Jose. Hello?. Hello?"

2.) 11 Jan 2018 23:29:07
I must admit ?
I didn't see that one coming? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

3.) 11 Jan 2018 23:34:11
Charly Musonda looks a class act and surely Chelsea will insist on him having game time, could be bad news for a few of our youngsters.

4.) 12 Jan 2018 01:19:48
I believe he can play Central attacking midfield or deeper or right wing. He is class of a deal can be done it would be great.
Him or Cash on the right side, Dowell or him in Centre and Clough or Osbourn on the left. I would think it may mean Carayol and Ward might be moved on though.

5.) 12 Jan 2018 14:27:31
Class act so is brereton and clough if given a chance.

6.) 13 Jan 2018 12:52:23
See Johnsons article in the Post. 2 hopes. bob and none.

7.) 13 Jan 2018 14:36:03
2 chances too, fat and no.๐Ÿ‘

8.) 13 Jan 2018 19:13:20
We've just no spark tonight,Villa seem to have us sussed, they look so comfortable, rarely threatening.

Burnley to offer ยฃ12m for Worrall? Well this is probably the acid test for our club. If this Forest lad through and through takes this opportunity to jump ship then we'll all know the state of our beloved club. Who would you trust with your future career? Dyche who has worked miracles within a "small" club or Warburton. The arrogant, inflexible over-analyst who once worked in a bank? Dyche is even a better investment analyst than MW as he - somehow - got a fee for Darikwa. Keep Joe. Get Vellios' Dad in as manager!

1.) 31 Dec 2017 08:38:24
With Burnley sat where they are in the Premiership and Premier league wages. Who'd blame the lad if he went. I wouldn't hang around Forest playing for a manager and team going no where. Good luck Joe.

2.) 31 Dec 2017 08:43:53
I know who I would trust to get the best out of a half decent set of players and he isnโ€™t at forest.

3.) 31 Dec 2017 09:43:46
After resisting Burnley so long when they were trying to tap up Lansbury, I hope we don't sell. Sadly a year is a long time in football, ยฃ75mill gets you a centre half apparently.๐Ÿ˜ฒ Personally, I'd chance my arm and ask for ยฃ20 mill and just hope Joe is a club man and stays.

4.) 31 Dec 2017 10:39:45
We need to strengthen the defence and we need to sell before we can buy so I'd try and get ยฃ15 million for him. Even if we have to settle for ยฃ12 million we can bring a few good defenders for that amount. I, for one, would feel no animosity towards the lad if he went to the Premier League because he won't be getting there with Forest anytime soon.

5.) 31 Dec 2017 10:52:20
Turns out this could all be a false alarm. It's come from The S*n 'newspaper' which is never that reliable in reporting 'news'.

I'd like to know how Paul Lambert has been at Stoke since Monday and he's signed on loan - Wait for it - A left-back who's a Greek international and has "fallen out of favour" at FC Augsburg. Seriously? We couldn't arrange that? Are Augsburg a high-wage club. Can't imagine it. Somewhat miffed at us missing this because we're looking at a Panathaniakos player who may not come to us anyway, allegedly to spite our owner!

1.) 17 Jan 2018 20:42:14
Simple playing in the premier is a bigger pull.
Their dof might have already have been involved in doing the deal,

2.) 17 Jan 2018 20:45:05
Come on karanka sign a decent player come on. Maranakis show me the ๐Ÿ’ฐ ๐Ÿ˜

3.) 17 Jan 2018 20:52:34
I know their dof may have been involved - so they can sign players during a managerial transition even if we can't - but we should have done this deal before Stoke got a sniff. Greek international left back? Think we missed out.

4.) 17 Jan 2018 20:53:00
Unbelievable Jeff ๐Ÿค”

5.) 17 Jan 2018 21:10:13
Yeah, Skegs, you're right again. I'm begging us to spend millions on a new left-back when we don't need one! Is there any way we could just direct our posts to you first and you could just make hilarious contrary and insightful quips as we type? Its a loan. They're a thing now. Football has evolved, even if some fans haven't.

6.) 17 Jan 2018 21:12:54
Puma - you arenโ€™t being serious are you?

7.) 17 Jan 2018 21:21:50
Puma why?
They're premier league and on top of it all we don't and won't pay good wages.

8.) 17 Jan 2018 21:25:27
Hi 2tone hope you keeping ok what do you think to all the goings on and just ignore some of my posts mate i'm having fun with some of the newbies and oldies puma loves my stupid banter ๐Ÿ˜

10.) 17 Jan 2018 21:45:03
I think we can highjack a deal for a Chilean striker if weโ€™re quick ๐Ÿ˜‚

11.) 17 Jan 2018 21:34:25
I think we should sign messi and loan him to Notts County to some valuable experience

12.) 17 Jan 2018 22:26:46
Bound to be hot stuff?๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

13.) 17 Jan 2018 22:27:32
sshhh heโ€™s on top of our list especially how he seen us whip is team ๐Ÿ˜€

14.) 18 Jan 2018 06:50:37
All good here skeggy mate, to be honest Iโ€™m disappointed that we are going through the same process again but I did think MW had to go as he just didnโ€™t seem to have the ability to get the best out of players. Although he did have the guts to get the younger players in the team/squad he seemed to then forget about what they offered to the team and tried to get them to do something else, if it carried on he would have destroyed their confidence and ruined players. Fingers crossed that we have got a more balanced man in charge now but thereโ€™s only one thing that's guaranteed being a forest fan-it sure is a rough ride!! Hope youโ€™re keeping well pal ๐Ÿ‘

15.) 18 Jan 2018 06:54:21
Puma - but you honestly canโ€™t see how stoke in the premiership can get a deal sorted quicker and be a step or three in front of a club like us? Thatโ€™s without going into the players agent and the actual players ambition??

16.) 18 Jan 2018 10:26:17
It's all Greek to me.

17.) 18 Jan 2018 14:44:59
I don't want rushed signings ak needs to get to know his players first everyone's banging on we need a striker so by your training we should have gone out and spent God knows what on a new one then turns out vellios was the answer all along so money wasted on buying someone no AK you take a bit of time to see what you.have then spend our limited funds

18.) 18 Jan 2018 15:54:59
Who's velios thought he was the bloke who played in our reserves get a bloody decent striker in we ain't doing nothing else and there should be plenty of funds available

08 Jan 2018 15:28:10
Why is David O'Leary creeping up the betting? The last time he managed a team the fine for turning up to training late was five shillings and a packet of Spangles (Ask your Dad. )

hogpuma

1.) 08 Jan 2018 15:38:35
He was in the crowd just behind Wenger.
A few might have put a bet on,some will bet on anything.

Mark Warburton's just turned to his wife and said "Darikwa would've had three by now."

hogpuma

1.) 07 Jan 2018 17:12:31
Hogpuma, Warburton turned to his wife and said "I knew I should of used the book of football tactics you got me for Xmas and I may still of been in a job?" PMSL...

01 Sep 2017 15:52:59
Paul Taylor watching the U23's today. Quote:

"There is clearly a blueprint in place here. Forest very much playing the Warburton way, even at under-23 level. It is like watching a junior version of the senior side. "

Yeah, Paul, it went EXACTLY like the senior side. It finished 4-4!

Personally I don't think there's a more exciting and exasperating team in the world to support, but would we have it any other way?

COYR!

Have a quick look at the league table. I know its early days but 5 out of the current top 6 were still facing possible relegation two weeks before the end of last season. So what does that tell us? Everything and nothing. I mean it just goes to show that there isn't a magic formula for success in the Championship. Luck plays a big part and hanging on in the last 10 minutes is a vital quality in this league. Other than that you've got to realise that for almost every club in the Champ its going to be win a few, lose a few. I just think we might be getting very close to getting more wins than losses. Well done everyone in red today! COYR.

Was he not also the Poacher in Withnail? We'll take another goal poacher if he's as good as Murphy, Cummings and McKay.

Skegs you always have to over simplify to the nth degree. Nobody takes a look at just results and wants someone sacked. That's why the league table isn't based on win percentage. Its the same with any job, you trust someone to do what they say they will and if they don't get the job right IN SEVERAL AREAS, not just one (ie. Man management, using the tools at their disposal in the correct manner etc, not just wins or sales or accounts opened ) You're a little naive or foolish if you think that "half of us" look at the points gained after 10,20 or 30 games then call for a sacking. Rutland is entitled to his opinion without you shouting him down because some people sometimes question a manager's ability to continue.

Rutland if I could give you two thumbs up I would. That's a great post. What I think we need is a midfielder who is not just available to us, but who meets the gaffer and says "I'll do it. I'm your captain. I'll stand up and be counted. I'll make my voice heard. I'll protect the back four. I'll make players think twice before running at us because they'll be wondering if I'm close by. I've got the balls to do it and I've got everyone else's back." THAT'S who we need. I don't care whether he's from Middlesbrough or Middle Earth. Sign THAT player.
