Joe Worral training at a gym in Southampton today. Sounds ominous!

UpperT

1.) 26 Aug 2021 18:20:52
Where have you heard that.?

01 Sep 2015 18:30:10
People keep saying MA wanted to go but according to the radio he has said he did not want to leave due to a special rapport with the fans!
Who's telling the truth?

UpperT

1.) 01 Sep 2015 18:59:36
NOT important, he is gone!

2.) 01 Sep 2015 19:22:14
It is important, if he wanted to stay and we sold him it sends a negative message to other players both in our squad and potential future signings.

3.) 01 Sep 2015 19:36:28
He wanted more money to stay here but also wanted to play in the prem,he ain't going to say I'm glad I'm out of there just in case it doesn't work out.

4.) 01 Sep 2015 19:53:20
Or it is possible that he is being genuine!

5.) 01 Sep 2015 20:01:42
how many players that are sold do you know that say they couldn't wait to leave. I just doesn't happen. and whether he was being genuine or not is irrelevant money talks in football and the best players always move on. teams sell their best players all the time and don't plummet into lower leagues. man utd selling Ronaldo, Liverpool selling suarez, Tottenham selling bale. just to name a few.

6.) 01 Sep 2015 20:32:47
Not saying anything about plummeting, just interested in the truth. How many fans wil boo him if he returns?
I know we are unlikely to ever find out but wouldn't it be nice to have transparency?

7.) 01 Sep 2015 21:14:48
Let's face it football is one big buisness if every player stayed at a club for the supporters, like any other buisness u cannot better yourself. MA wants to play prem football and earn better wages which in my eyes is fair enough as u have to think football players retire in there 30,s in most cases and not many go into coaching or are involved in football after so who can blame him for wanting to take it in and play in a better league! Good luck to him and let's just keep backing the players we have.

8.) 01 Sep 2015 21:22:17
Trickytrees, I agree with your sentiment but there have been a lot of people on here who have been saying he has stopped playing for us and wanted away etc. I wonder how many are booed or cheered who don't deserve it.

9.) 01 Sep 2015 21:37:13
Yeah and there probably right in saying he wanted away in some ways ie money and better football but the fans should not blame him for that. People need to start putting themselves in his position and then comment. I'm sure certain players will get stick that don't particularly deserve it this year your right!!

10.) 01 Sep 2015 21:51:31
If MA stopped playing for us then he will do well in the prem because he ripped Cardiff apart in the second half if that's him not playing then west ham are in for good times lol

11.) 01 Sep 2015 22:22:55
No tricky they blame fawaz for letting him go regardless of weather he wanted to go or not.
Fact is fawaz said he won't go to another championship team and will be let go if a prem club comes in and he wants that move. hes gone to west ham and that's that. he could of stayed if he wanted to but money talks and he listened to it.

12.) 02 Sep 2015 06:14:17
Get real everyone if someone offers you more money for the same job you are doing now with the potential of even bigger money in the future are you going to say "hang on a minute let me have a think about it"!!!

13.) 02 Sep 2015 08:48:00
Totally agree with treetricky we would all do it if someone offered to treble my wages then I'd be off to it may also work out in our favour he's gone we might try playing football and stop relying on ma

I sometimes wonder if some of the people on here actually went to games pre-c.v.
Grabban was very good for us last season but like many had a shaky start this time.
He is a top striker at this level, proven goal scorer with a very good record.

He holds the ball up well and was one of the shining lights only a few months ago.
Our fans can be really stupid at times, getting on a players back never works and drives them out.
Why do we do this to our players?

UpperT

1.) 18 Nov 2020 13:40:18
It's a very valid point. I saw a comment on here the other day saying if we get £1m for Grabban it would be good business! This is a player that has just scored 20 goals, and at this level has a very good record. He might be having a dip in form, and hopefully that will change, but is a player we should be looking to keep and get the best out of.

2.) 18 Nov 2020 16:01:42
Because, UpperT, we Forest fans are a fickle bunch. Best striker in the league when he's scoring but as soon as he misses a few chances and doesn't score for 5/ 6/ 7 games then it's time to get rid.

3.) 18 Nov 2020 16:16:14
He's could possibly be on the decline, however his goals last season put us within touching distance of the playoffs. he's certainly worth more than 1 million!

4.) 18 Nov 2020 16:42:49
You could look at it another way. If its goals scored yes he acheived a decent level last season. But as for being selfish he is different class. How many times over the last couple of seasons could he have slipped someone else in for a certain goal but tried the spectacular. How many penalties has he missed. How many sitters has he casually passed to their keeper? Attitude goes a long way and i don't think his is very positive. Wherever he was loaned out he scored a few goals but no one pushed the boat out to sign him. Reasons on a postcard please.

5.) 18 Nov 2020 17:57:47
Does this also apply to every player at the club who has a indifferent run of form? .

6.) 18 Nov 2020 17:58:00
20 Goals is more than decent as a lone striker mate.
Wish you were here!
😎😎😎
🤣🤣🤣.

7.) 18 Nov 2020 18:11:32
Well he stopped scoring when we needed him as a lone striker. I refer to my full post.

8.) 18 Nov 2020 18:26:59
Personally believe he will be gone in jan, and 20 goals last year does not mean he will get 20 this year., with the form he was showing he would be lucky to get into double figures if he did play every game. It is a last chance payday in his career, he has done a good job for us and I will wish him well but I never felt he has affinity for any club he has been at, forest need to be finding a striker that has the potential for the premiership and grabban is not that man.

9.) 18 Nov 2020 19:45:13
To be fair nobody’s been in the ground to get on his back.
Can’t knock him for the goals he scored last season but also have to agree with Rutland on points made. UpperT last season was last season and all players should be judged on what they have done this season so far. Just have a look back at the lowlights of the first 4 or 5 league games and tell me how Grabban hasn’t scored at least 3 or 4 goals given the chances he’s had. Can’t remember reading on here anybody wanting to get rid just fight for his place like any other player in the team. Don’t perform and you get dropped simple as that.

10.) 18 Nov 2020 20:38:50
To be fair grabban has never been appreciated by most fans on here.
Personally very good striker and knows where the net is and doesn't deserve all this animosity.
What everyone forgets is he had to play last season even carrying knocks as we only had him.
Secondly he produced the goods and then one season ends another starts for footballers no prooer break and return fresh?
I read on here how goid knockheart and freeman are?
Maybe three years ago.
Thats football.

11.) 18 Nov 2020 21:00:23
Ps a post said he's 33 and firing blanks.
Im 63 the gun still fully loaded but don't come out the holsters as often for a shoot out. 🤣🤣🤣.

12.) 18 Nov 2020 21:15:14
He's done well for us in the past but he's passed is sell by date this season he doesn't look interested and now he has proper competition get rid in January we've had our best out of him goodbye 😁😁😁.

13.) 18 Nov 2020 21:48:16
Maybe he's knckered plus injured?
Freeman and knockheart been crap so far skeggs what's their excuse?

14.) 19 Nov 2020 10:36:03
Upper T, it is the same fickle fans who can't wait to the boot in on anyone we have when they hit a bit of bad form.

Grabban still has goals in him.

People were slating Taylor who we got on a free before he even kicked a ball.

Being positive on here is like a salmon swimming upstream unfortunately.

15.) 19 Nov 2020 19:41:33
A BB pregnant one?

16.) 19 Nov 2020 20:35:09
Gingerkidd you fail to understand the point of this site.
You never give a subject to create a thread.
You just criticise anyone that you deem being not positive enough for you.
The site would cease if we all had your attitude and pretented everything was rosey.
To have decussions and banter to have to be creative and sometimes mischievous.
Not just say the same thing about positive needs to be the main criteria and I'll criticise pisters for any sort of negative comment while never starting a debate or thread of your own.
Just saying.

17.) 20 Nov 2020 12:24:09
Not at all Grandad, just saying.

It's people slagging players and unnecessarily running them into the ground I don't like, if that's the kind of opinions you want to promote, basically hate, then you fill yer boots and enjoy yerself.

If you read from the start, I'm actually agreeing with the original poster of this thread.

18.) 20 Nov 2020 14:27:33
Yep and I'm a very good grandad.
Why don't you try starting a thread with an opinion.

08 Sep 2020 15:59:20
Less than a week to go and still no information for season ticket holders. What is going on with our club? Even the sheep have made an announcement.

UpperT

1.) 08 Sep 2020 16:19:15
Terrible, what has happened to "we will keep supporters informed"!
Not even had a refund for last season and emails seem to just go into a black hole.
Surely they should have plans in place by now.

2.) 08 Sep 2020 16:19:28
They are busy travelling all over Europe looking for another ten players before the season starts. 😁 It should have been sorted by now, without a doubt.

3.) 08 Sep 2020 17:36:31
It is disgusting and if something, they probably think they can get away with it by saying the ticket office is cl8sed.
The club will suffer if they continue to not make an announcement or reply to emails.

4.) 08 Sep 2020 18:29:19
In the case of Dierby and some other championship clubs they have their own tv channel and do not use EFL ifollow, the last I heard was that maybe there would be a deal done with sky but that would mean that EFL ifollow wouldn't be able to screen matches but I do agree with most comments about poor communication between the club and us season card holders, very disappointing PR.

5.) 08 Sep 2020 20:08:45
Im not interested in any deals just want my £480 back, i have no wish to pay to watch football with no atmosphere on tv.

6.) 09 Sep 2020 11:16:27
Yesterdays announcement that gatherings are to be restricted to six people will definitely meen no supporters in stadiums this season.
So forest need to make an announcement before Saturday league opener.

24 Aug 2020 11:20:12
Has anyone heard anything about season tickets?
I renewed mine before the virus hit and not a word.

UpperT

1.) 24 Aug 2020 13:34:30
As there only just sorting out refunds for last year I guess there won't be a focus on next seasons tickets until it becomes clear what will happen with grounds re-opening to spectators.

2.) 24 Aug 2020 13:46:13
The problem with this is that last year the contracts were established. This season those who have paid have not had any value so there is no contract. My concern is that older loyal supporters may not want a digital option and should not lose their assigned seat.
The club have replied 5 minutes ago saying that they are basically waiting for the EFL.

14 Jan 2018 19:31:51
Amazes me see such doom and gloom after the Villa match. It certainly wasn't the worst performance, we leaked a decent poachers goal and Villa simply made life difficult there after. The Villa team 'out proffesionalled' us, they drew the fouls they wanted and our young lads didn't quite have he experience to avoid it or break them down.
Karanka should teach them the tricks of the trade, when that is embedded we will be fine and earn the right to play decent football.

UpperT

1.) 14 Jan 2018 19:39:27
See Jason Cummings shipped out on loan. we were better off with "Jason" Donovan!!!🎶🎶🎶

2.) 14 Jan 2018 19:57:37
JD wears a coat of many colours, was everyone's neighbour, and went pop, and loved lots of corn.

3.) 14 Jan 2018 20:13:38
I don't know rogie think Kylie would of been better with this club and managers, I'm spinning around 😁

4.) 14 Jan 2018 20:34:19
I bet he comes back injured and we end up with another long term sick note?

5.) 14 Jan 2018 20:42:36
Is this the start of the Cummings and goings?😂😂😂

6.) 14 Jan 2018 20:51:52
As long as we do not get sloppy seconds we could be ok.

There is an old saying, 'Only a fool keeps doing the same thing and expecting a different result'.

UpperT

1.) 27 Sep 2017 12:22:50
plenty keep mentioning Prince Billy so i'd go along with that old saying :)

2.) 27 Sep 2017 16:02:46
Well that sums up life as a Forest fan?

3.) 27 Sep 2017 20:10:22
Are you on about the way we give managers 6 months then sacking them by any chance?

4.) 27 Sep 2017 20:50:59
no sweaty sock manager for forest ffs, as it happens steve bruce is my wifes cousin and she supports burnley ffs.and her dad played for dundee utd. alexander bruce,

Dowell is very talented but I can't help thinking that we don't play two up front because we have to accommodate him. Sometimes you need to take out a good player to benefit the team.

As we are all having a go at picking the team, with the current injuries, I would try this to improve creativity.
Samba
RB - Darikwa
LB - Ribero
CB - Mc Kenna
CB - Soh
Wingers - Ameobi/ Lolly
DCM - Cafu
ACM - Knockaert
Strikers - Taylor/ Guerro

Ok Knockaert out of position but he can pass the ball in a direction other than sideways and backwards.

I’ve not received one either. I asked a few questions and got an email saying they had received my full refund application; I didn’t ask for a refund.
I have lost confidence in the club.

Ok 2 examples, the team we play first, QPR pro rata refunds for matches not attended, loyalty options and guaranteed seat.
The sheep, even if you take a full refund the season ticket is safe for next season.
I simply want a fair option not one where I get reduced value and could lose my season ticket after having one for about 45 years.
NB if you have option 3 it seems you lose all rights for keeping your seat.

Joke options that push the fans emotional buttons.
They don’t care about their fans, I’ve had a season ticket for over years and renewed early to help the club following their request. I feel really sad that I might have to cut my ties due to greed.
Other clubs have done much better.
