Horses for courses today. He would have got bullied out of it and we needed the wide positions covering. Had he played wide left then we would have been completely over run on both flanks.

Yes there is! I blame the FA and FIFA. They will only allow us to play 11 players. I mean, how unfair is that?

McKay doesn't fit into a 3-5-2, so in games where we play that formation, he won't play. As he's neither a wing back or a central striker. (You may not like 3-5-2 but if that's what we use, then that answers your question.)
When we went to 4-4-2, we could have brought him on for Fox and kept Osborne inside, but I think MW was trying to shield the defence as best he could, and Bouch central and Osborne wide is better than McKay on the wing, in front of Traore.
I suspect McKay will only play in games where we use a 4-3-3, where he can play as one of 3 forwards.

That's ridiculous, I know he's a professional but how is he going to keep motivated if you keep making him play with the kids? Walker and brereton should not be starting ahead of him.

Its a deraliction of duty from warburton regarding velios. He did the basics ie scoring pre season. He may not be as strong as murphy but has more goals in him and holds the ball well. Fancy playing brereton and also signing murphy on a 3 year contract when he had velios readyvto kick start the season. So when people talk about mw doing things his way or the right way then think how destructive his favourtism to certain players affects morale within the squad!!!!

Osborne is a quality young player but not a leader. If we want to make the promised land we need better than him in the squad, players for him to look up to which will develop him. I say this every window, if Lands bury wants to go then let him, if he wants to stay then fantastic. Players have to want to succeed which seems to be where we are falling short at the moment.

Murphy needs some support. All to often he was isolated up front working off scraps. Ran his socks off but must have been so frustrated. 1 up front @ home is simply too defensive.
Also we need to move the ball forward much faster. At best our progress was pedestrian. Wolves showed how it should be done. Fast on the break and forward passes. We were the complete opposite.
Can't understand why Velios isn't getting a chance. I feel he is much more likely to make something happen rather than Walker?

Yes Murphy was isolated, but when on goal one time he went down too easily, had he stayed on his feet he might have scored, or at leadt the referee would have seen it wad a deserved penalty when he had got brought down.

Just got back from the cg to find out about season tickets queuing out of the door couldn't wait that long but security bloke said they were sending them out this week if we don't recieve them we will get a free ticket plus 20 quid for the inconvience make of that what you will the free tickets for the burnley game has put them under extra pressure to sort out but what a shambles 😠😠.

I know what your saying 2 star but against Blackburn I lost count of the times Osborn gave the ball away under no pressure. Clough has scored 4 goals since he joined. He should have been left out today.
