Are their any runours around whether Brazil will sacked before the Derby game? I did not see the Maclaren sacking coming. Near all the Derby squad were signed by previous managers, they are stuck with players they have paid huge sums for and I belive they are on massive wages - Vydra, Annya, Bradley Johnson, Blackman etc. They have spent 40 million pounds. I can see why McClaren wanted Chris Martin back.

Warburton to be confirmed in the next day or so, rumours are suggesting.

2.) 13 Mar 2017 13:17:11
Well warBurton has got league one experience.

3.) 13 Mar 2017 15:48:46
Warburton set to sign a 3 year contract, david weir to come as well, as other backroom staff.

4.) 13 Mar 2017 16:40:21
Yes we are in a sticky situation, Yes, we could be sucked into a relegation battle. And yes! I for one happen to believe we'll be ok. Just!

5.) 13 Mar 2017 17:29:46
Gary and Jack will go back to the Academy, they are huge assets to the club and they can get back to what they are good at.

6.) 13 Mar 2017 17:26:02
Could be sucked in a relegation battle I think you'll find we are in one Rogie red, hopefully if Warburton agrees to join us he could sort the squad out quickly for Saturday which at this moment in time although looking forward to it I'm sceptical if GB picks the team although I will say I do like GB but he can't seem to choose the correct team for some games but a lot of this players must take some of the blame also I just hope we beat the 🐑 then hopefully get out of the trouble we are currently in 👍 👏.

7.) 13 Mar 2017 18:29:08
Is anybody else getting fed up with this 'RIP' nonsense? 😠😠😠.

8.) 13 Mar 2017 20:41:51
Hope we beat the sheep as well mate, time to shine Britt, well rested so Please Warburton or Brazil, play him and Brereton up front, and Clough sitting in behind to thread the killer balls through, and for a change take the game to THEM! We need the points! None of this one up front malarkey. As Del Boy says ("He who dares!")

Who is advising Fawaz? Is it John McGovern, he has gone to ground again, when the going gets tough he is nowhere to be seen. Someone must be pulling the stringss as clearly Fawaz knows zero about football. The facts are that Brazil's results were poor last time he was in charge so why put him in charge of a relegation battle?

Ruby47

1.) 13 Mar 2017 12:12:37
Yes McGovern has gone very quiet. Forest have gone from bad to worse since Fawaz pulled the plug on the takeover. He has made some bad decisions since taking over at Forest, but pulling out of the takeover was his biggest mistake, and we do not know the real reason why. R. I. P. Nottingham Forest.

2.) 13 Mar 2017 12:25:37
Ruby: why pay for a new manager when you have a caretaker who you can pay very much less? It's all about money - still no CEO, but McParland needs to get rid of dead wood quick, even if it means loaning out loanees!

3.) 13 Mar 2017 18:25:33
Nobody advises Fawaz, he's his own man!
CARLO.

30 Jan 2017 16:32:54
what is going on with Nigel Clough, Has he actually been offered the job ? Fawaz is reported as saying he is looking at other mangers and may leave Bazil and Lester in charge. Who is scouting the loan players when we have no scouting network ?

Ruby47

1.) 30 Jan 2017 17:06:52
He's turned it down.

2.) 30 Jan 2017 17:14:23
He's rejected us!

3.) 30 Jan 2017 17:33:22
Nigel would only ever come to Forest for the long haul. Fawaz has made it clear he himself is not here for the long haul. Fawaz still openly says he wants to sell. Why would Nigel come under such circumstances. We are back to where we were in the final days of the Nigel Doughty era.

An owner who wants out who is no longer prepared to fund the club beyond keeping it afloat. £120 million spent on a club he was offered £30 million for, does not sound very palatable to anyone. Nigel would have wanted long term security and money to spend. Fawaz will have offered him neither.

4.) 30 Jan 2017 18:59:26
Don't reckon he'll ever get another chance. I only want Forest to do well no matter who owns us and although i understand the reasons think this rejection has hurt the club still further. A limited mgr but good at motivation and we would have had more chance of staying up with him at the helm.

5.) 30 Jan 2017 19:29:43
NC has not rejected us - he's rejected fawaz and who can blame him.

6.) 30 Jan 2017 20:00:32
How many times has Fawaz put the Burke money into the club, taken it out and claimed to have spent it, if he has spent £122 million like he claims, we would still be under an embargo!

7.) 30 Jan 2017 21:40:28
For God's sake Brazil is scouting the loan players. He has been doing so from the start because the team could not wait for a manager to come in with the window closing so soon to see what players he might want. don't you all realise that !

23 Jan 2017 07:35:18
Jamie Ward started well at Buron Albion. I understand his form dipped. Allegedly he was on £15,000 a week, Burton came to the conclusion that they could 2 players in for that money and that is why he came back. He was on the Radio saying he did not ask to come back.

Ruby47

1.) 23 Jan 2017 09:23:26
Forest would have paid most of that as part of the loan deal being the soft touch we are.

2.) 23 Jan 2017 09:31:24
Didn't Ward sign under the embargo? Free transfer and no wages above 10k a week. I don't think he's been given an improved contract since then.

3.) 23 Jan 2017 14:50:18
And you trust Fawaz to have stuck to the rules of the embargo? I am sure if there was a way around it he would have found it. maybe that's why the accounts looked dodgy.

4.) 24 Jan 2017 06:26:47
Didn't him and mills get longer contracts than they normally would of to offset the lower wage of 10k a week? both are on 10k a week.

I still think there is a chance that David Vaughan will be released because of his age. When he first came his fitness record was poor, he seemed to get fit so he could get into the Welsh squad. Friendly against Olympiarkos here we come.

Ruby47

1.) 18 May 2017 09:26:05
Already said that about the friendly with Olympiacos. CEO next. Forest and Brian Clough forever.

16 May 2017 16:05:19
I do not fancy the chances of Jack Hobbs getting a new contract with Pinillos being released. They must think that Pinillos has not got over his injury and likely to be injury prone in the future. It is strange how they are giving out information piece meal on released players and not all in one go.

Ruby47

1.) 16 May 2017 16:38:26
Hobbs still got another year.

2.) 16 May 2017 19:54:43
After seeing that Lica is on stupid money one can only assume that Pillinos wages would be a problem and MW thinks he can get someone cheaper.

15 May 2017 07:43:26
Why are we not being informed of the retained list? Surely the players have been told whether they are in the Manager's plans?

Ruby47

1.) 15 May 2017 08:09:08
Probably got to be discussed with the new owner and depending on the budget he has to work with.
Latest news is that takeover will be done by this weekend, let's hope so.

2.) 15 May 2017 08:10:59
Maybe there waiting for the takeover as it will be the new owners who will be setting out the plan of attack over the next few seasons.

3.) 15 May 2017 09:27:06
Desperately need Rotherham to come back up next season so we can off load all our dead wood.

4.) 15 May 2017 09:51:11
Can't afford to wait that long.

5.) 15 May 2017 10:49:16
Still not heard about who is being released from the Academy and Under 23's.

6.) 15 May 2017 12:44:52
Surley Rotherham will sign our deadwood for a league they, er more suited to!
CARLO.

7.) 15 May 2017 18:38:26
Pinilos gone so that's one bit of news.

8.) 15 May 2017 18:48:29
Well pinillos is leaving so surely a new left back in mind because I don't think fox or traero are up to championship for a full season.

9.) 15 May 2017 19:44:36
It wouldn't be bad if them two follow, fox is useless and traore hasn't managed a full season in 6
Like I've said before we need new blood players with hunger in their bellies, winners, can't see many in that squad that nearly got us relegated.
Pinilos had a bad game against QPR and he took him off after 60mins writing was on the wall then.

12 May 2017 08:31:38
I see Lee Camp has been released by Rotherham. He was on big wages, too much for Division One. Warnock is interested in taking him to Cardiff. Still a good goalie. What about us taking him back?

Ruby47

1.) 12 May 2017 11:20:54
Past his best and will not want to be second string to Smith or Henderson.

10 May 2017 07:51:13
It seems strange to announce that Fryatt had been released and not offered a new contract yet no one else mentioned except sending the loan players back. It appears that not many contracts are up for renewal so Warburton will have to put some up for transfer or get them out on loan. Unless the Greek wants to pay some of the players contracts up. Any one have any idea when the retained list will be announced. ?

The McClaren sacking has come back to haunt us, this is sending us to Division 1. They will have a top class Manager in this week, they are not giving the Assistant Chris Powell the job, all his backroom staff have gone.

I have to eat my words and thoughts. At last Fawaz has delivered. We now have competition for places, selecton problems. Just what we want. Onwards and upwards.

Cannot see him coming to us. There are a lot bigger and better clubs interested in him. Another hype.

Luke Chambers is 31 years of age. Why are not Ipswich offering him a new deal, has he seen better days ?

What about his wages ? He is on huge money. What about his fitness, he did not go to training at Villa because he could not climb over a small wall.

Why the obsession with Billy Davies. What has he got to do with the takeover? Please move on BD is history.

Gtoon I agree, I go back to Eddie Bailey, Doug Lishman, Dick Le Flem, I was at the semi-final in our FA Cup year. I remember great players like Terry Hennessey who donated his shirt to the Aberfan disaster. Players who were proud to wear the shirt. We have no heart, soul or fight anymore. Looking at the leaugue table the ones below have games in hand. A loss against Derby and we are down. Gary Brazil's results were poor last time he was in charge. Fawaz when will you ever learn, you do not have a clue, if there was an award for the worst Chairman ever in the history of football you would win hands down.

I must for the top 3 would be Terry Hennessey all day long, he was pure class. Better than Des Walker.
