In Early November last year, Mel Morris the Direby chairman described Paul Clement as the next Alex Ferguson. Where have I heard that before? Fawaz on Billy? Like us they appoint under 21 coach and begin search for replacement "special one" . Sickening to see they go and persuade ex Forest Legend in to coach their defence. So many similarities with our situation last season. Will they also fall foul of FFP. Or will they get Pearson in? Thought we had it bad when Psycho got sacked.? Count your blessings Eh? Great win at Leeds. Friedman been watching Bin Robbers I think.

At least Dougie will not be sacked playing "The Forest Way"?

Promotion "not a priority" for Derby this season but playing "The Direby Way"?

Obviously following the Forest model into embargo so maybe they will send for Cotternil and SOD or even the Big Eck?

An egotistical Owner and his cash are easily parted?

Minium 4 points against Burley and Sheep and it's game on for the playoff's

Cant believe what utter nonsense morris has come out with. Promotion not a priority and the team sat in 5th. Bloke must be an idiot. Just tell the truth.

3.) 08 Feb 2016 22:25:31
What was up with sod rednixle let's hope they don't get him or billy davies I bet you was one of them shouting in the background for both of them managers at forest lol why you worried about what's happening at Derby forest is our priority.

Keep up with my posts! I'm backing us for the playoffs with Sheff Wed as Dierby Ipswich et al are going to fall out of contention.

We have a team, Dierby have a bunch of over rated primadonna's and journeymen. Today's news improves our chances.

I'd love it if they took WMD back as he would drown in all the so called stellar they have signed!

I'd also back Dougies team on current form over anything Davies has ever produced

Leeds dominated us at home. Our possession was poor and goal attempts, pass success also abysmal. Large proportion of J Block thought that Friedman should go. But Fast forward and unbeaten run gives us a glimmer of home. This next game is crucial. Not for top 6 hopes. But for next season.

Riverside

Odds are it will be a low scoring game, but if Forest grab an early lead we could do well. At the mo any points are welcome and it will be very difficult to break into that top 6.

2.) 04 Feb 2016 12:47:08
Why is the next game crucial for next season. I'm lost?

3.) 04 Feb 2016 16:05:47
Keeno

With so many teams close to us in the league the next game is always crucial, especially if the hope of the top six remains possible.

Trying to decide whether to go for the Billy Bremner ticket + meal deal on Saturday but worried about the spots and turning ginger?

Definitely not the Main Stand as they flog you tickets for top dollar where you sit and face the buses on Elland Road.

Lowfields Road Stand is full of people that make you wonder why you spend your working life doing missionary work for morons?

So its looks like the East Stand where the top deck is closed because of apathy but at least I could support my team without threat of death?

Let's hope for a overcast day so you can actually see what's going on pitch side and just accept that I have to contain myself when we score unless it's 7 again where I will take one for the team! Haha

Just watched Man U v *****. Their support abysmal at home. Least we can do tomorrow is make a bit more noise than that. Win or Lose.

Didn't really have much to cheer about though did they. They were outplayed for the majority.
Not sure I could muster a cheer either if I had to watch Richard keogh week In week out!

Is there a slowmo of the Vaughan red card anywhere? Sitting in J block, to me it looked like his foot was waist high and no where near his head. Yet he fell to the ground clutching his head and rolling around in agony. Given that the ref was probably the least competent in 20 years and both sides agreed he lost control after 3 minutes and Brum looking to con the red from kick off. Forest right to appeal.

What does it matter we would have still drawn anyway.

And the next three games will be 0 - 1 or 1 - 1 Vaughan or know Vaughan

Be grateful though Dougie is turning the corner 🤔.

I was at the match today and have posted my comments. But I know many of those that post comments aren't able to attend. Would be interested to know if anyone listened on local radio and could let us know what Steve Hodge thought about our style of play the home?

We were boring;again- heard DF in interview earlier and thought he took himself a bit seriously and was quite keen to project his own image as a bit of a deep thinker and a "tactical" man- decent squad no drive is my "deep thinking"- yawn.

He's a 6.895 goals a season guy. Just like the rest of our strikers. Should be a great acquisition. Only trouble is; he wants to play for a big club.

Why would he go there? He got homesick in Scotland. Or is the money and body art better!

Massively talented. Give me a break. What have you been watching. Lazy, work watcher, ask Kenny Burns. Get rid.

It may be normal in Kuwait or wherever this money is coming from. But I'd be extremely pissed off if my works pension didn't arrive on time. Any well run business ensures that when payday falls on a weekend or bank holiday it's paid on the working day before. Not that I've much sympathy with certain of those masquerading as professional footballers taking the money and not even on the bench. Well below average on and off the pitch.

I must not be the only one wondering whether or not to take advantage of the early bird offer coming up. Firstly are we 100% sure we will be out of FFP? Secondly under the new rules. How much can we spend next season on class strikers and still comply with FFP. Too many unknowns. But my biggest concern. Have we developed a style of football that will give us some hope of progressing. I see nowt to give me any confidence next season. They want our money now for a reason.

No coincidence that Jamie Patterson is thriving in a side that has embraced possession of the ball. Not giving it away cheaply or relying on the counter attack at the expense of conceding acres of the pitch. Our football philosophy is driving away true talent. If I were him I'd relish the chance of playing with the likes of Billing et al.

It's all about possession. Liverpool 59%. Forest 3rd from bottom in Championship possession stats. Even worse Brum had more of the ball than us last night? That's why Friedman will never get us promoted.

Apparently Dougie set the side up to hit Leeds on the counter attack. I'm pretty certain that this is exactly how we will play the rest of the season no matter who we play. 30 odd percent possession at home. Sorry but most Forest fans do not want to see this at home. Ok if we are looking at avoiding relegation and when playing away. But do we really want this as our style of play? Smacks of a manager obsessed with the opposition.
