Hi forest fans. There is a lot of people connected with the club that seem to think we will be signing up to 3 players this window under AK. It’s believed he wants to sign a CB as he doesn’t rate anybody other than Worral and Mance expect to see a good player come in. He wants to beef up the midfield so expect to see a CDM/CM be signed.
It’s also believed he will target a new LB to challenge Traore. In summer he would like to add a quality GK, Winger and Striker and potentially another CAM depending on the development of Clough. Also this morn expect to see around 4 players leave, 2 CB’s if AK can buy one and a striker likely Vellios or Cummings, there is also a chance he could move on Bouch. How do I know this. . let's just say I know a few people!!

Off course no one knows how much you know, but that seem he wants to replace nearly a whole team with the main tarket positions being the one's most people were wanting under Mr Warburton.
A K has said he hopes for promotion this year but it could take his entire length of contract.
He said something like we have to separate expectation from realistic possibility.
That for me sounds like there will be no whirlwind changes, just more money spent on fewer players of a higher quality.

The new assistant of AK has said promotion is the target for forest this season. Why would he wait until the summer to strengthen properly if he wants promotion this season?

Bid for John Mcginn of Hibs rejected. He's a midfielder can play on wing or in centre. Don't know why we're after him as we need a CB and GK before that. Maybe CB, GK and midfielder to come in. I'd expect at least 4 departures before window closes

Today was a fair result. We didn’t do anything amazing in the final third and neither did they. Both teams defended well. The team is heading in the right direction, we just lack that one quality striker that can turn a game on its head. Onwards and upwards as far as I’m concerned. COYR

RIP to Davide Astori who has sadly lost his life aged 31. My thoughts are with his family, Davide has only just become a father 2 weeks ago, such tragic news. RIP

I think we’ll win tonight but it will be a scrappy hard fought win. We aren’t going going to playing this nice football under AK that some maybe expected but I think given time he will mould is into a team that will Ben hard to beat and a team that can nick a goal or two with very few chances created. Having seen Kapino play on numerous occasions I can safely say he is the best goalkeeper at the club. However a few times a season he will make a mistake that will cost us a goal. But he is still a very good keeper. Good luck to him and also to the Lb we’ve signed who I hope can hit the ground running. COYR

AK’s a good manager he needs to have a summer window to work on who he wants to sign instead of rushing for deals like in January. Also, I feel a full pre season under him will do the players some good. I expect a RB, CB, LB, CM, Winger and striker (or 2) to come in. But these will all be good quality players.
In terms of outs smith, Lichaj, manc, Hobbs, Colback (end of loan), Vaughan, Cohen (he’ll be a coach which I think he is doing now while getting/keeping fit), McKay, Murphy , Vellios and possibly Brereton so then we’d need to sign 3 strikers. Then Ward, walker, Clough, Traore will all leave.

Great post mate. I think AK needs a proper transfer window with some money to spend and a good pre season under our belts. With the right combination of singings and a good pre season I have no doubt we’ll be fighting for the top 6 next season

I know our owner might be a bit mad but what he’s doing at Olympiacos shows he cares about results so imo we have an owner that wants success and it will the same for us as it is Olympiacos. He will back AK in summer and we’ll push for promotion next season. At least we have an owner who cares following the muppet that was fawaz

Here’s my takenkn the squad. We don’t have a good enough striker that is much needed so one will definitely come in the summer. Watson, Colback and Geddy are good additions even if they’re only on short contracts (Colback obviously on loan TIL end of season). I think we currently have a good mix of experience and youth but the news players signed need to get to fitness. Once they are at full fitness and full match speed we’ll get some good results. If we play like we did in the second half v reading then we should have no problem scoring goals, we created the chances just need to score them. So a quality striker will help solve this problem. Mid-table finish for us this season. Then we’ll be pushing on to look for play offs next season.
