I'm not sure how much input PM is having on our transfer dealings, he seems quite intelligent and doesn't seem the sort of manager to waste money on players. I really can't see what they see in the 2 strikers they've brought in dumitru and velios, what are they going to bring to the side, carayol is good championship player and will do a job for us, but like many fans i feel very underwhelmed at the moment with what's come in so far, still a few hours to go yet though☺.

Just heard junior hoilett is available on a free, might be worth offering him a contract if antonio goes, wages maybe a stumbling block though.

Why are we even thinking about Paul taylor, his scoring record is useless and why didn't we offer nicky maynard a contract, his record is only slightly better but he held the ball up well in pre season games and brought other players into the game.

As soon as I heard qpr were releasing barton I've been saying he's just the type of player we need, he's a leader on the pitch and wants to win, he'll definitely have his mad moments but he's a quality player when he wants to be

He did come before pm, and who bought him? Fawaz? Some of the signings just don't make any sense at all, I think velios was brought in to appease the Greek buyer, a lot of these signings aren't made for football reasons.
