Grealish just signed a new contract at Villa, he is in their first team squad & is highly rated by Keane as well as Lambert so doubt if he will be going anywhere
Burnley have a good manager in SD, IMO & they have a good team spirit & forwards that score so there is a chance they will stay up, I fully expect them to struggle but there are another 10 or so teams in the Premiership that could just as easily be relegated. Good luck to him if he goes, the draw of playing at Old Trafford, Anfield, The Emerates etc. , is certainly appealing to any young player, add in the increased wages & bonuses & its very hard to turn down. I know it may be only for one season but as the saying goes, Better to live one day as a Lion than live your whole life as a Lamb.
Totally agree with goosehonk on this one, cannot blame Bamford or for that matter any young player who gets the chance to move up to the Premiership & takes it.
McGugan's lazy and we are well rid of him, I wish him well at Watford but really hope we don't see him back at the CG, we have enough players on high wages who contribute very little as it is. Yes he scores spectacular goals, but not enough of them to make up for his laziness, lack of tracking back etc.
Keane is with LA Galaxy in MLS, is on £60kpw, highest paid player in the MLS so doubt he would sign for us, although he and Andy Reid are buddies, came through the same underage set up in Ireland and grew up not too far apart in Dublin.
Don't worry too much about Warnock, Parish controls Palace not the manager. By Christmas I think Warnock will be more worried about Relegation & keeping his job than getting one over on us, he's not Billy Davies
I don't think Warnock will have much say on whether Hunt signs for us or not, I think Parish will be happy to sell any player not in the frame for a first team place at Palace & if Warnock cannot show him that he def needs him Parish will sell.
I am trying to forget Dexter & hope SP does as well. I know he is a firm favourite of a lot of fans but IMO Cox, Mackie or even Henderson are & were better for us, Dex seemed to spend most of his time either offside or falling over, we have signed 3 out & out forwards & we alos have Pato so would like to see Dex being moved on if at all possible
