Fawaz bought in big money sponsor for naming rights for CG! Kuwait City ground and training sponsors.
All helps with FFP!!
1.) Loving it all but a little unsure about the name change but hey, if its what we have to do then so be it. What everyone else thinking of the name change? People not saying much.
2.) I don't mind the new name it could be a lot lot worse at least it still keeps the words city ground in the name of the stadium.in time everyone will get used to it.
3.) I think it's ok, it's the same as having a sponsor on the front of the shirt, we won't say 'Kuwait city ground' we will say city ground but it looks good on paper and that paper looks good in the clubs bank account!

It was always going to happen at some point wasn't it. I don't see any problem with renaming the ground. It's not like the club will be renamed Kuwaiti forest. It's a good move if you ask me. Brings in extra funds and helps with the ffp.
5.) It all depends on the deal, and how it will benefit the club, its early days yet, the translation is shoddy, its to soon to be doing the conga let's wait and see what happens, what do you think Ed?youve been a bit quiet tonight.

I understand the rivers Leen and Trent are to be re-named the Tigris and Euphrates to attract even more Middle Eastern sponsorship.
3 mill is a bit poor seeing as though McCormack went for 11mil
Henri has told Burnley after 3mil bid that he is going no where and his future is at the city ground

Ed? Have you heard anything on this front? We have just potentially just got rid of one highly over paid player to bring in another? Seems a little crazy!
