Being reported on a few sites that it's gardener who will be coming in.

26 Jul 2017 14:41:53
Warburton has said 2 more in darikwa and an attack minded midfielder in next 48 hours.

Foreverforest8

1.) 26 Jul 2017 15:56:15
Who do we think? Irvine or Gardener?

2.) 26 Jul 2017 16:37:35
hopefully irvine but honestly have no clue, with a 2mil release clause i'm suprised no ones really gone for him yet, i think that'd be a bargain.

3.) 26 Jul 2017 17:06:03
Gary Gardner is meant to be the midfielder that is coming in.

4.) 26 Jul 2017 17:31:07
I'd be very happy with gardner coming in, we need players who are committed. Irvine isn't all that special.

5.) 26 Jul 2017 17:43:44
Personally I wouldn't consider Gardner to be an attack minded midfielder.

6.) 26 Jul 2017 18:23:26
Attack minded midfielder. Jota from Brentford would fit this description and MW and FM seem to be keen on players they've signed for other clubs. Hope it's not Gardner.

7.) 26 Jul 2017 18:43:27
Agreed. Gardeners rubbish mate. No thanks.

8.) 26 Jul 2017 18:58:21
I certainly wouldn't call GG rubbish in fact he proved in his first stint how good he can be
He has a love for our club and, given the right motivation and support which MW seems to offer, I believe he will put in the effort and come good again
If I am honest I like the idea of Irvine coming but I do think it will be Gardener
Good to see we are bringing in a good assortment of players with pace and physical size as we looked a little bit weak at times last season with all of the didi men in the middle.

9.) 26 Jul 2017 19:43:14
I would like Luongo from QPR.

23 Jul 2017 14:53:52
According to a transfer site we have activated the 2 million pound release clause for Jackson Irvine.

Foreverforest8

1.) 23 Jul 2017 15:09:49
Hope it's true and we get him in along with Greek that chap from olympiacos. Would give us enough options in the middle of the park with young lad Edser as well as Cohen and Vaughan. Just leaves the defence to sort out then.

2.) 23 Jul 2017 15:10:46
would love that if true. just wondering what site this is?

3.) 23 Jul 2017 15:25:14
Good goal from walker. Looks quick enough and strong enough to me.

4.) 23 Jul 2017 16:03:19
It's on the fl72 transfers on bird site mate.

5.) 23 Jul 2017 19:17:08
thats great ff8, appapently were close to 2-3 signings so that would probably be irvine, and apparently hector is close too.

6.) 23 Jul 2017 19:33:54
From what MW was saying he knew nothing about Irvine possibly joining us, only he has been linked with us, however he was more sheepish when asked about Gardner.

7.) 23 Jul 2017 20:14:33
Those 3 for me will represent a very decent summers recruitment 😀 Roll on a week on Friday.

04 Jul 2017 14:40:40
Burnley have bid 8 million for beitt.

Foreverforest8

1.) 04 Jul 2017 15:04:44
Seems some way short of the price tag many of us have in mind. Especially when selling to a premiership team. let's hope we knock it back and ask them to double it. I'd be very surprised now if Britt isn't trying to push a deal through. What player wouldn't want to show his talent in the Prem, you wouldn't blame him.

2.) 04 Jul 2017 15:06:07
Testing the water with a meagre offer in today's transfer silly climate. Dyche get real after you've just fleeced Everton for £25m plus add on's for Michael Keane.

3.) 04 Jul 2017 15:11:11
Its a joke bid, less for Britt than we got for OB.
He is worth a lot more than 8M. I would say Burnley can't afford him.

4.) 04 Jul 2017 15:12:07
Just tell them he's not for sale.

5.) 04 Jul 2017 15:32:44
Tell them to do one. Cheeky gits. Bidding should start at 20m. Plus add ons.
We don't need to sell.
Wait till January and see where we are.
Britt will be difference from play offs or mid table.
150m if we get promoted. Wait till January.

6.) 04 Jul 2017 15:35:46
Paul Taylor on twitter has said it's bin rejected already.

7.) 04 Jul 2017 15:40:51
if we except 8m it will make us look a laughing sock, even if britt is pushing for a move its still very cheap in todays market.
Now is the cance for the new owner/ board etc etc to put a stake in the ground and tell suiters to line up starting a 12m.

8.) 04 Jul 2017 15:46:10
Now we know why so many strikers are being linked with us : (.

9.) 04 Jul 2017 15:47:19
Paul Taylor that works for the post has said he's been told it's bin rejected already.

10.) 04 Jul 2017 17:09:32
I told you lot he's going to boro. Forest holding out for 17 million.

11.) 04 Jul 2017 17:57:08
This is because your friend told you they are selling up and britt is moving up north and his wife is going down south to be near her mum.
How would that work when they have a child? Weekends together?
Whoops that's when he plays football.
Never heard such a load of bull.

12.) 04 Jul 2017 18:00:42
If he's going to boro for £17 million. why would Burnley bid 8? lol.

13.) 04 Jul 2017 18:06:30
Living close to burnley i speak with a lot of fans. They have banked over 100 million last season and can afford to really go for britt but i would say 10 mill with another 2mill when he plays his first 20 consecutive mstches would seal the deal. Personally i think he will go!

14.) 04 Jul 2017 18:25:58
Lansbury didn't want to go to Burnley so I can't see Britt going up there.

15.) 04 Jul 2017 18:36:47
Rutland, I'm glad your not in charge or pricing the players, your way off mate.

16.) 04 Jul 2017 20:30:00
Would only think of letting him got if we triple our money on him!

17.) 04 Jul 2017 21:02:07
It's a family member who was there for medical reasons who hasn't a clue about football. She couldn't even say his name. Yea there relationship must be a mad one but 100% boro n 17 mill got mentioned. Whether brits been told he can go for that I don't know, but I don't chat poo. An I'm not that sad n bored that I would make summert like this up. I for one want him to stay regardless cus if we have a bit of luck with injuries an Britt does what we know he can do then this could be an exciting season ahead. Let's hope she's wrong.

18.) 04 Jul 2017 21:24:30
If we sell for any less than 15m we have got a bad deal in today's market. They are being cheap, they can't take their premiership £'s and then low ball us, the new regime ain't as stupid as the last.

19.) 04 Jul 2017 21:30:39
His buy out clause is £8mill so we couldn't of turned it down!

20.) 04 Jul 2017 22:04:20
Told you there is no buy out clause ages ago and he wouldn't be in florida with the lads unless we want to keep him.

21.) 04 Jul 2017 22:11:50
Chaps 13 shes wrong, as was the chipshop man and the one who said chilwell was available on a free cus his daughters mate was best friends.
Someones having your trousers down.

22.) 05 Jul 2017 06:36:00
Anyone read the mirror this morn. Hate to say Told you so forest forever but like I said I don't lie.

23.) 05 Jul 2017 07:55:25
Mirror aren't saying anything about a bid from boro, only Burnley have bid.
They are just suggesting its 15 million to get him.

20 Jan 2017 12:38:31
Sounds like there may be some sort of consortium being put together by Stan collymore aiming to buy the club. Very early stages but could lead to something positive. Also collymore joining the protest before the game tomorrow, if nothing else he is passionate about the club

Mills signed, but not officially unveiled until Bolton contract has expired, as is the same with ward and derby contract

Faulkner resigns after not being consulted over freedmans appointment. Anyone else feel we are fast becoming a joke

Foreverforest8

1.) Apparently they were the 3 amigos, Pearce, Faulkner and McGovern. Does this mean McGovern has also left ? Is there any news yet on Eastwick and Wigley. What about the goalkeeping coach, was he a Pearce appointment ?

I heard today that abdoun and djebbour not getting a look in because of djebbour and cox havin a disagreement that ended in cox almost punching him. This has ended up splittin the dressin room more so the french contingent ( moussi gomis and the 2 algerians) who are all very close friends. source has often proved to be very reliable so maybe a lot more going off behind closed doors than we all think

Foreverforest8

{Ed034's Note - there was a disagreement bet wen abdoun and cox.

1.) This must be upsetting Simon Cox so much that if a large fresian stood a foot away he'd miss its ample rear with his 5 stringed music making machine.

If I were Jack Hobbs, Chris Cohen or Andy Reid I'd punch the living day lights out of the lot of them

We don't need a 40,000 seat stadium. A modern version of the single tiered Peter Taylor stand would completely transform the ground in my opinion.

McDonald is the 1 for me bags of experience, I know Irvine is exciting but we need experience to influence a very young squad. We have enough goals in the squad.
