Well it looks like the Fawaz 5 year plan to get us out of the championship is on course to succeed
2013 8th
2014 11th
2015 14th
2016 20th

There is only one way we are heading!

At the start of the season I like many other long suffering garribaldis wished for the following
1) end season with same manager we started
2) swift exit from FFP
3) mid table finish with no real danger of relegation
4) improved running of the club

Well I guess we should of thrown more money in the wishing well under Emmets Clock in Victoria Centre.

My guess is some deal already done for Young Clough to take over in summer.
Do I like it? NO. Will he get my support? YES
It's what we do here at Nottingham Forest. We support our own.

If young clough can get a bag of nails like shef united to quater finals a play off and current club burton to what looks like automatic promotion then bring him in, when was the last time we reached the quater finals of a cup.

Clough would be a Dougie mark 2, i fancy Clement think he did a good job at Derby and think we could get him no problem.

Soo many Clogh haters around.

4.) 27 Mar 2016 20:12:57
Don't hate him just don't rate him as a great manager.

It's getting close to THAT game again and the banter at work is flying around with more venom than usual. Bets were made before the last game which ended in me having to wear a "white lamb based" shirt for a shift. Just made the same bet again. I look forward to seeing my work colleague paraded around in the shiny garibaldi proudly showing off PSYCHO 3

I know that feeling well forever red I had the same bet last time and lost so had to wear that horrible top for a shift, like you bets have been placed again and i'm sure this time it will be my collegue wearing the garibaldi come monday morning

I've upped the anti a little.
If we win, the dirty sheep fan will be on the away end with the reds.
We lose then I'm in with them!
Draw, then it's a shirt swap for training.
Ps,
Not really too worried! In psycho we trust!

Early nomination for daft decision of the month. A mate of mine decided after many years not to renew season ticket and instead bought a set of golf clubs. 3 days later Psycho named as new manager ( Palm to Forehead ).

Also I'd like to report my signed Psycho photo has been reframed and restored to rightful place on mantelpiece

ForeverRed27

{Ed034's Note - he was named last season. Tell your mate 'mistake, bid mistake' in your best Julia Roberts impression

1.) Surely that goes to Ross McCormack?

A lot has been said about the new players making a huge difference to Our Team this year. Others will say we have brought a little success with Fawaz hard earned cash. For me the biggest difference is belief, determination, character and desire. That my fellow Garibaldis cannot be bought for any money so I doff my cap to The Man Formerly Known As Psycho. Sir I salute you.

1.) When people say a club has bought success it really annoys me.what club hasn't bought the best players it can afford to get them where they want to be the list is endless Man U,Chelsea,Man City,Barcelona,Real Madrid,Bayern Munich, Arsenal AC Milan. Every club with any ambition at one point or another has invested heavily in players to get them to the next stage or level. We want premier league football and to get there that costs.

2.) 24 Aug 2014 12:58:19
Over the last few seasons I always had hope for a positive result as each game approached. There was though a niggle at the back of my mind that something wasn't quite right and that a positive result would not be forthcoming. All of that has been banished and replaced with belief and expectation. We now have the players to succeed. A manager who has given everybody a positive attitude and players and fans now believe we can win every match. The media are involved again and as fans we have our club back. It won't be a rollercoaster ride this season. Our club is heading for promotion. let's all enjoy.

With the ever decreasing number of English Qualified players in the Premier League where does TheFamousTeam suggest we look for future England players. I don't remember a rule stating that only players in Premier clubs can play international football. Surely a confident championship player is worthy of a look in. Also some players get a call up simply for playing for the likes of Manchester United or Arsenal without ever being international class or holding down a regular start for their clubs eg Jones, Smalling or Gibbs

As the OP on this thread can I just add that in my younger years following the greatest football team in the world home and away standing up at a match was good fun when away trips to the Cuckoo Lane Terrace at Oxford or a foggy Tuesday in Grimsby. Standing shoulder to shoulder with BCs Red n White Army. But now I'm older and playing "red side white side" in the Trent End has lost some appeal LOL. Must be my age and creaking knees. Hey Fawaz never mind standing can we have seats with extra leg room for us 6ft + fans.

Hi Ed. I must apologise if this post has been twisted to a different agenda. My only intention was to raise the debate on safe standing with the possible upgrade of the CG in mind when we gain promotion. Maybe a larger main stand with safe standing in lower trent end. What would other reds like to see

ForeverRed27

{Ed034's Note - I know mate and honestly, you do not need to apologise.
I have not added a few because I don't want an argument about who's to blame. This isn't the place for that and I thought your op was a good one to start a debate

I take your point Pach. I was only trying to point out to those who claim this player or that player will not improve your squad as we already have better. I should of pointed out that by buying some one better than your worse player it then follows that you allow the worse plAyer to leave hence improving the squad from the bottom upwards
