Bouchalakis will be the key to the midfield, strong good passer tall and will grow into central role and impose himself, his time will come I'm sure, McKay a star bit hazard like in stature and trickiness just needs a bit more support and will supply and score more than Osborn did last year, Murphy good support act but I think velios needs a run! Dowell an absolute barn find.

Luongo would be fairly cheap, Ledley would be a free and Hanley would probably be about 2m.

Smiths distribution was awful, heart in mouth every time he had ball at feet along with Traore.
Vaughan was outstanding.

Smith made some good saves but along with Traore was a bloody liability at times. Murphy for me did nothing, no movement, it was like playing with 10 men. The game imo was screaming out for Cummings and Brereton or Vellios to go up top.

Heard a nice rumour while walking into city ground yesterday that lacavetti Yates lam Lica stoikivic and mills be gone either sold or loans by wed and that we were looking at dan burn and max power from Wigan along with Lewis baker (who they expect to stay in prem with Swansea or Watford on loan) and joe Gomez from Liverpool on loan as they expect Liverpool to bid 10m for brereton and hope this might sweeten the deal. decent info from reliable bloke.

Keep Smithy in goal, nothing could be worse for his confidence than to drop him now. Brereton in for Murphy who is unfit, and agree try out Vellios. We need Ward to run at them not Carayol or McKay. I'd have Lichaj at left back and Manc at right back, Mills or Fox in the middle with Worrall. Bring Appiah to the bench and also Edser rather than lightweight Clough. If Brazil is running the show (or maybe even Cohen) we have nothing to lose bringing more youngsters in right now.
I was relieved when we got rid of Fawaz, and I'm disappointedly relieved we have got rid of MW. New Year, new start. We have got the players to make a good team. let's use them today.

Nicholas Randall came out before the season told it how it was and is going to be explained the situation so we all understood and gave some clarity as what to expect hence the support and 28k there yesterday, please mr warburton just do the same and we would all listen if. you told us why certain players aren't in favour and are left out of match day squads, explain and we understand, . why it seems to us your not certain of your best 11, injuries we understand dip in form we understand playing youth we understand, playing a half decent game one week then disappear next we don't understand, tell us where you want to strengthen (no names obviously) and we would understand and get behind you, mystery's and being in the dark just makes the doubters doubt more, do like your parents told you tell the truth and we understand.

FF79 no they were nothing to do with team selctions or managerial selections. One was about a broken seat ( still split ) One was about the catering in trent end, two were about a pig ignorant alleged security meat head , and two were complimentary about the dug outs and the coat of paint which surely warrants a " thank you we are pleased you are happy " reply
