Not sure how true it is, but my old man is a stags fan, he’s said that Tyler has agreed to join the stags for another season, and just waiting on MON to ok the deal. Interestingly he’s also said that Mansfield received a letter from the FA apologising for several refereeing errors including a disallowed goal which would have meant that the game wouldn’t have gone to penalties.

Some on here think he should be in our first team but if Walker himself thinks he should be playing in league 2, it points to a negative attitude on his part. If he wants to go out on loan again, instead of battling for a shirt here, he should at least be wanting to show his worth at league 1 level.

It doesn’t point to a negative attitude at all.if he thinks he needs another season down there then his head is actually screwed on,this shows he knows he’s not ready to step up and he knows what level he is at that’s not a negative attitude that realism.
I also think he will have a say in it they will sit down with him tell him he’s not ready for the 1st team and tell him they want to loan him out.they will then tell him if anyone has enquired about him and they will go from there.
In my opinion he needs to step up to league 1 to see how he gets on in that league.try and improve on his first half goals.

The more I look at this squad, the more I think we’ll be playing a 4-3-3 with Watson sitting in front of the back 4. I do see potential in a 343 too with cash as a wingback. Needless to say I’m excited for the season and look forward to going to as many games as possible.

Really excited for the two signings so far. Both have pace, Ameobi has power and Silva has skills. I can see one of our tactics being a Lolley cross to Ameobi on the back stick nodding it down to Grabban who slots it home.
Another interesting part of our game would be the use of Yates and Silva, and where Carvalho fits. I can see a midfield 3 of them being a bit lightweight defensively but great on the attack.

I’m not convinced it’ll be 3 at the back, with the signings he’s made I think we’re looking more like a 4-3-3. Left back a DM and a CM would point to that given the number of players we already have. 3-4-3 could work but I’d be surprised if this was what he used. Then again I’m not a football manager in this life, thankfully my computer seems to think I am and that’s all that matters! Champions League 2022 boys!
