According to news now forest website we are plotting a move for a crystal Palace player. ANOTHER MIDFIELDER!
Could be lousy journalism but come on not another?

Fawazs bank balance

1.) 16 Sep 2018 13:47:31
Fbb I know the club have to plan ahead to some degree but I think he will only be thought about if he is felt to be a improvement on one of the players at the club already.

05 Jul 2018 11:52:07
According to journalists we are now wanting britt back and Birmingham maybe in line to grab grabben?
Lazy journalism perhaps but who nows what's going on behind the scenes?

Fawazs bank balance

1.) 05 Jul 2018 12:33:10
So much lazy journalism these days I'm a bit of a lazy poster myself I must submit ๐Ÿ˜‚

2.) 05 Jul 2018 13:26:27
It would be great to have Britt back, I'd prefer that to Grabban but they'll want to recoup every penny that they spent on him.

3.) 05 Jul 2018 14:19:21
Every Boro player is being linked with Forest and Brum, who just happen to have former Boro managers! Pathetic.

16 Jun 2018 14:44:33
According to the post, Krankie is looking at grabben, Olivera and Bamford. Grabben yes the other thank you.

Fawazs bank balance

1.) 16 Jun 2018 17:54:54
At the moment weโ€™re being linked with any striker thatโ€™s still breathing I think most of it is carp still think Grabban and Soudani are favs

2.) 16 Jun 2018 18:11:09
That would be a good front line.
Soudani would be better than Marriott

3.) 16 Jun 2018 18:36:22
We have been in league 1 and know how difficult the league is (and how difficult it is to get out of).
Marriott scoring 27 in that league should make him our main target and with the new signings we have, I think he would be supplied with the chances needs to score the goals.
Knows the english game and certainly knows where the net is

4.) 16 Jun 2018 18:56:25
apparently we want a striker from porto now

5.) 16 Jun 2018 19:23:03
Porto want โ‚ฌ7m, they loaned him untill January and he did quite well. Porto took him back then his form dipped.

6.) 16 Jun 2018 20:01:35
I reckon we should tell Peterborough to politely walk away in short sharp jerky movements! They need us more than we need them ! They can Fry!!!!

7.) 16 Jun 2018 20:56:10
Great Pun!!!

8.) 17 Jun 2018 02:29:19
Lucky bag for anyone who can remember what any of the players were called who played in league 1.

Thatโ€™s how good it is!

9.) 17 Jun 2018 09:44:53
Wes morgan

10.) 17 Jun 2018 10:53:36
Nicky southall and junior agogo

11.) 17 Jun 2018 11:04:59
Nice to see some incisive investigative journalism from the NEP?
Does that Paul Taylor ever get off his webcam and actually get out and talk to people?

12.) 17 Jun 2018 12:17:19
Sorry forgot Chambers as well, he played most the season at right back as I recall.

13.) 17 Jun 2018 13:54:42
No22 you're in danger of giving your age away when you mention the lucky bag.๐Ÿ‘ด

14.) 17 Jun 2018 15:00:10
Paul Smith, bennet, Brekin, Maloney, Morgan, clingan, commons, Cohen, mcgugan, agoggo harris, omerod (on loan), perch, southall, Holt, garner, Davis and Tyson.

I think that was the core of the squad

15.) 17 Jun 2018 23:27:59
How on earth did we ever get promoted with that squad?
Remember listening to the final day matches on the radio whilst my daughter scored a hat trick playing against Osset
She would still give BenBro a run for his money today

Hi all I work for a Bristol company I have been informed marriot is in talks with Bristol over terms etc. Not sure how true this is but hopefully it's fake news?

Fawazs bank balance

1.) 05 Jun 2018 14:55:24
Did you take that fake news of the posh owner that he used when Nixon said Marriot will be sold for ยฃ4mill

2.) 05 Jun 2018 16:35:39
No Sutton, just passing on a rumour I have heard and with being a rumours site I thought Iโ€™d share this info.

3.) 05 Jun 2018 17:18:36
Bristol local rag now saying they are favourites for Marriott. Hope we get him this is the striker we need!!

4.) 05 Jun 2018 18:29:29
I thought you was being sarcastic with the fake news phrase.poshโ€™s owner used that phrase when tweeting back at Nixon when Nixon said posh are selling Marriott for ยฃ4million.

5.) 05 Jun 2018 21:05:06
There's always "knockers" when Bristol is mentioned. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

{Ed033's Note - The Mandela Effect altered Sex In The City to Sex And The City

6.) 05 Jun 2018 22:43:02
I really hope we donโ€™t get Marriott.

Iโ€™ve watched all his goals from last season, handful of mishits, handful of scuffed finishes, handful of snatched shots that better keepers should be saving and a handful of lobs from long balls over the top where keepers are in no mans land. Rest are scrappy finishes inside penalty boxes.

I really donโ€™t think this guy is the business. Armstrong from Newcastle scored goals in League 1 and canโ€™t cut in the championship. Same as Clough, same as Garner.

Not good enough, hope he goes to the sheep.

7.) 06 Jun 2018 06:29:31
Also before I get jumped on for saying I donโ€™t want us to spend ยฃ6m on a league 1 player itโ€™s worth noting that McGoldrick had a better goals per game ratio when we loaned him to Coventry in League 1 and most of the forest fans were happy to let him go on a freebie. !

8.) 06 Jun 2018 06:40:56
From what you have said Glutbag it sounds like Darragh MacAnthony has done a very good job of talking up a potential selling price. Jorge Mendes watch your back!!

9.) 06 Jun 2018 10:29:26
Hahahaha as sid James used to say with a grin!

10.) 07 Jun 2018 10:36:01
The Bristol deal for Marriott has gone tits up and he has just dropped into Hooters on his way to signing at the City Ground!

02 Dec 2017 21:21:16
The lads played well. we are a work in progress.
We passed the ball in our half really well and we excelled in gifting the ball to the opposition.
Smithy played a blinder between the sticks. oh have i mentioned we are a work in progress? sound familiar? ๐Ÿž๐Ÿž.

1.) 02 Dec 2017 22:03:55
Johnson at Bristol city faced the same last season from fans,
Bet they're singing his name now?
You can't turn our mess out overnight,
Even pep with all his riches cudn't get city right in his first season.
Chopping and changing doesn't work,we'll be mid table and be ups and downs, that's the goal for me this season

2.) 03 Dec 2017 08:24:30
FF79 come on how can you defend warburton?
Are you telling me you are satisfied and happy with our results so far?
This league is extremely tough and the results clearly speak for themselves.
11 LOSSES. minus goal difference. conceeding soft easy goals. poor defending. need i go on?
How much time do you wish to give before we decline and slip further?
Something has to give I'm afraid.

3.) 03 Dec 2017 09:41:26
I'm not defending him,I just want some stability the club, and a manager to be given a chance not 30 games and start the manager merry go round again.
It hasn't worked, the finances have settled down now,we will be able to offload the last deadwood at the end of the season.

4.) 03 Dec 2017 09:47:40
Because he wheres rose tinted glasses I watch home and away we don't have a plan b OK fair enough we play nice passing football me personally I'd rather win games the ugly way if that gets us where we want to be taken arsenal yesterday 69% possession who got 3 points utd we can keep saying we are working progress we cannot defend as a unit it's beginning to think what Zach clough must be thinking probably same as velious the lad is a natural no 10 MW needs to have a rethink and quickly

5.) 03 Dec 2017 12:22:54
So you "Watch Home and Away" mate??? I thought that ended a while ago. just saying ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

6.) 03 Dec 2017 12:33:47
Spot on Johnny. We just don't seem to have the players to do the ugly stuff. This wasn't addressed in the summer even though it was quite evident end of last season.
I appreciate MW can't be expected to sort this in 1 transfer window and i'm also aware we can't keep sacking managers.Facts are facts,we've lost way too many games this season and concede an embarrassing amount of goals.Personally I'd stick with MW till the end of the season and see how things look then.A strong second half of the season could have us all feeling more positive.
Zac Clough is a concern for me.Very promising player rotting away imo.

7.) 03 Dec 2017 12:34:57
Same old forest we've become accustomed to this season. Most of the possession but created the same amount of chances the opposition created. Negative and predictable.

8.) 03 Dec 2017 13:44:04
MMs, Manager-Moaners, out in force again. Life, like football, is never easy and will never be so. We have had the major bonus of getting rid of a clueless owner, and now have someone who wants to keep the ball on the floor and build up skills in the relatively inexpensive squad he has got. Would you constantly criticise and moan at your own kids for all their failures (I know, we are not dealing with kids, as many of you seem to think) or praise them for the things they do well? The positive managers are the ones that achieve the most: half a season is no time at all in the life of a team or Club. All we can do is support the Club and the lads, even if we have rather obvious criticisms to make. Nothing breed success like success.

9.) 03 Dec 2017 15:24:12
Knee jerk replace manager moans as usual when we lose, that really hasn't worked out in the past for us has it.

At least give the guy a whole season in charge, mid table/top 10 is a decent finish, loooooong way to go yet, we do have a really young side on a steep learning curve.

10.) 03 Dec 2017 15:33:18
Iโ€™m not moaning at my kids Iโ€™m moaning at the man in charge of full grown adults thatโ€™s trying to mould them into something they will never be.who in the world has success playing the ball on the floor with no pace, tempo or directness?no team in the world plays like that.all the passing teams are direct and donโ€™t pass Just for the sake of it like we do.thats not good football thatโ€™s trying to keep the ball off the opponents so they canโ€™t score which again is down to the manager not realising that these players panic far to often when under pressure.its all well and good keeping the ball but when you have so much possession and do nothing with it whatโ€™s the point?people are mistaking good football with keep ball.

11.) 03 Dec 2017 17:35:45
We keep coming back and comparing our situation with Bristol City. Well having watched them play the difference is they have Aden Flint a 6'5" attacking centre half and Jamie Patterson who has the happy knack of arriving in the box at the right time!

Fine margins and poor squad management is something we continue to excel at?

12.) 03 Dec 2017 19:36:06
They also had owners who stood by the manager when he cudn't buy a win and refused to let flint go and credit to the lad he just gets better.

Another poor game.
Pants is exactly what it says on the tin.
Steele should of started.
Karankas arrogance and tactics will cost him.
As previously stated I'd give ak until the end of the month and adios hombre.
He's no better than Warburton in fact I think he's worse.
Yes I was all up for ak to be a successful manager but this obviously isn't working.
Should of stuck with an English manager who knows what they are doing.
I think ak has been wearing reds tinted unicorn specs again.

26 Aug 2018 22:17:19
Well fellow fans krankie is making a rod for his own back In my opinion.
Yes we are only a few games in yet again the same old story.
The opposition score early, weak and poor defending and bad tactics from AK.
As nice as he is he seems to have read an excuses book from a. n. Other former forest manager.
As I mentioned before it's a huge gamble trying to buy the league and at this point it is unfortunately backfiring.
We can state the players need to gel etc but time is once again of the essence.
To those I have mocked in the past I will eat humble pie and apologise. you were right.
I hasten to say this but if were AK I'd be secretly looking over my shoulder waiting for the call when MR. Marinakis say "You're Fired".
The next few will be crucial as to if he stays or goes.
Sorry AK time is running out.

Think we all want the best for this club, but you have to question the recruitment since karanka arrived.
He only has a plan A and plan B should be renamed plan P for panic.
Blokes got a decent squad but has no bottle to take the fight to the opposition.
Lots of unhappy players behind the scenes and this comes with a top heavy squad, now he's having to try and balance the books by selling our two best youngsters, after ignoring them completely?
So we keep conceding at an alarming rate, can't score enough, but these two ENGLAND under twenty players aren't good enough for the chosen โ˜๏ธ
Blackburn your getting a bargain.

2.) 27 Aug 2018 03:49:51
I think the players other than jack robinson that AK us bringing in were not either playing or were first choice at their respective clubs. Even Grabon was down the pecking order at bournmouth. Why did the clubs he scored for last season not splash out on him? Maybe one or 2 mill was his real value but AK was so keen to get him we were mugged. Not many were even match fit as they were not getting good pre season work. When you look at the grafters in the team its young cash and osbourn. Ben is no fullback but he really has the desire. Ff79 fears unrest in the dressing room, I echo that.
In the wba and bjrmingham game they seemed to have more players on the pitch as they easily harrased us out of posession and swarmed forward with purpose. A real men against boys. Whatever AK is trying to acheive is either confusing to the players or he has the wrong personelle. Its not conducive to being creative, isolates the striker as midfield is too deep etc. The teams that have got out of this league have been big strong organised tenacious and direct. Oh and with clear cohesive direction. In this we are lacking????

3.) 27 Aug 2018 06:51:39
I think some of you are getting carried away, yes it was a poor performance on Saturday, They had a game plan and it almost worked, until the players have had some competitive game time itโ€™s going to be trial and error to work out our best team, itโ€™s a long season, letโ€™s see where we are in December before we start panicking.
For now letโ€™s be positive and get behind Aitor and the boys.

4.) 27 Aug 2018 10:17:51
You say they had a game plan, what was our game plan?
Just asking

5.) 27 Aug 2018 11:26:18
Ff our game plan was just to turn up.

6.) 27 Aug 2018 19:50:24
Our game plan was to get all the Foremoaners outed while rebuilding the squad in August. Then building on our unbeaten run to get a settled side and be in contention for Christmas.

The hospitality areas have been improved and extra staff recruited to serve endless portions of humble pie on big plates to those short of sight and loud of mouth!

3.) 05 Jul 2018 16:30:20
Well. nearly!!!๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

28 Jun 2018 06:05:16
So then gents.
Soudani is on his way question is who will be the target striker?
Hopefully it won't that lanky streak of pee bambi who's way overpriced and not prolific enough goal wise.
Will it be grabben or someone else?
Who would you like upfront and which keeper would do a good job for us๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”?

Fawazs bank balance

1.) 28 Jun 2018 07:44:27
Here we go again prolific striker how many time karanka is not bothered about a prolific striker is goals will come from the midfield as much as up front that's how he sets his teams up

2.) 28 Jun 2018 08:25:44
And you know this because??
Try turning your ๐Ÿ˜”into a ๐Ÿ˜ for once. It won't hurt you๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

3.) 28 Jun 2018 09:05:30
Smiles or not and banter aside I think skeg is bang on . Iโ€™ve never thought Marriot is on the cards because he wonโ€™t fit what I think AK is doing. I could be wrong though. One thing I will say though is he does seem to be assembling a name rather than just names to please the crowd.

4.) 28 Jun 2018 09:14:08
It's not rocket science if you've followed karankas past managerial jobs fbb ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

5.) 28 Jun 2018 12:58:26
It might be an unpopular idea but Brereton can still do a job. I remember how well he played against Barnsley, sure they were crap but he made some good runs. If the portugeezers are as good as people think then he could become that prolific scorer we need. I think his biggest issue was lack of competition within the squad as realistically he was our only fit striker, not counting vellios as it seems heโ€™s a forgotten man. With a new guy in I think BenBre can flourish.

6.) 28 Jun 2018 13:36:44
You say that skegs but AK signed both Bamford and Rhodes, who at the time were both prolific strikers! Just saying!

7.) 28 Jun 2018 14:33:57
Rhodes was prolific,it was bamford first real chance under karanka and he repaid the faith with goals and championship player of the season.
Rhodes was only signed as insurance against injuries as he was never going to cut it in the prem and was quickly moved on to Wednesday where he's flopped again.

8.) 28 Jun 2018 15:38:32
But skeg it is rocket science.
DO you know who it will be?
After all I assumed you know all and have knowledge and wisdom within your posts?
