Sunderland after Burke and Britt.

Eke

1.) 17 Aug 2016 17:33:44
It's becoming more likely that both will leave before the end of August with premiership teams clearly very keen on the duo. If they do leave, I seriously think we're looking at a relegation battle.

2.) 17 Aug 2016 18:25:21
Think they will be gone in the next 2 weeks and next season we will be playing league 1 football where we belong 😀.

3.) 17 Aug 2016 18:57:55
Correct for once skegs. Although think only BURKE will leave with britt on a knife edge.

4.) 17 Aug 2016 19:57:12
I can't believe that Moyes is not looking for much more experienced and talented players than our two, and he has the whole world to choose from. Britt with a possible dodgy leg not yet fully fit and Twisty totally inexperienced? Come on.

5.) 17 Aug 2016 20:00:08
If Britt and Burke go, and I think one if not both will be sold, it will be a sad day for Forest. I know every player has a price but if the powers that be really want us in the PL they won't bloody well achieve it by selling a guy who has the ability to be the top scorer in the championship and young Burke, who is not the finished article yet but is being compared to Gareth Bale in some circles and no doubt has the ability to achieve great things in his career. Money talks and heads get turned but I hope we can hold out and keep both for this season at least.

6.) 17 Aug 2016 20:01:54
Hftf i thought things were going to be different under pm but obviously he's as bad as df and for fawaz complete waste of time 👀.

7.) 17 Aug 2016 20:58:45
The thing is player and agent power sadly rule the roost these days in the business that is known as professional football. So if either show a glimmer of the above then there will be nothing NFFC can do about it except hold out for a big transfer fee!

8.) 17 Aug 2016 21:16:25
25 million for both

10 for Britt
15 for Burke

I think that's more then fair 👍.

9.) 17 Aug 2016 21:55:32
And ablivion for the fans and club, oh what a circus oh what a show!
CARLO.

10.) 18 Aug 2016 00:17:24
I think half of you would be happy if Britt and Burke went just so you had something to moan about. Apparently Britt was all but signed for Norwich the other day, now Sunderland?! Until they've signed on the dotted line for someone, they're still here.

11.) 18 Aug 2016 09:19:41
I think even if both stayed the way were playing will see us in a relegation battle, I'd rather see Assombolonga go than Burke.

12.) 18 Aug 2016 10:15:27
People need to get a reality check - £10m + fees for either and it's hard to ignore. We've only just come out of FFP and are some way off being self sufficient. There's a business to be run behind the football - regardless of who is in charge.

Even in our 80s heyday, players left us to join bigger clubs.

It's not the owners fault, it's not lack of ambition, it's just football!

13.) 18 Aug 2016 12:08:50
Hope we keep both of them.
But if we sell we should be asking at least.
Britt 10m plus clauses sell on fees
Burke 10m loan back and sell on clause.
Bolasie is or as gone for 25m and he's very inconsistent.
Let's not sell for peanuts like we did with Antonio.

14.) 18 Aug 2016 13:06:50
I doubt very much that asombalong would pass a medical. Any knee injury that keeps you out for a season and a half is career threatening. Its a risk that any premiership club would bave to be totally convinced that he is over. So i think he stays for a while longer bangs in some goals then take it from there. As for burke. Still not proven at this level but again a smashing prospect. If big money comes in then it must be considered!

15.) 18 Aug 2016 13:13:34
People on here saying we are mid table at best so why bother keeping them? I'd rather keep them both and show a little ambition.

16.) 18 Aug 2016 13:14:13
Lol forest fans are crackers.

17.) 18 Aug 2016 13:29:02
You only just worked that out hucknall.

18.) 18 Aug 2016 18:37:28
Hey! HTF, it must be getting quite sore being on that "knife edge" all the time mate! 😂😂😂.

19.) 19 Aug 2016 17:43:57
Footy fans are like goldfish they just swim around and around aimlessly blowing bubbles!

20 Jul 2016 12:21:58
Forest are linked with a loan offer for Hildeberto Pereia, and supposedly bid for Dickson Etuhu.

Eke

1.) 20 Jul 2016 13:22:20
Dickison etuhu

Was caught fighting outside a nightclub, a midfielder in Sweden.

2.) 20 Jul 2016 13:25:59
Hildeberto Pereia is a 20 year old Porto B team right back.

3.) 20 Jul 2016 13:33:09
Hildeberto is from Benfica, not Porto.

Etuhu has played over here before but at 34 I'd guess his best days are behind him.

4.) 20 Jul 2016 13:48:53
Hildeberto would be a nice signing, i'm praying there's nothing in the Etuhu rumour haha.

5.) 20 Jul 2016 14:32:27
My bad stevesuttonswonkyeye.

6.) 20 Jul 2016 17:30:58
Pereia looks like our much needed right wideman rather than a right back. Blaze? Etuhu past it I'm guessing, let's have Costa guy instead.

06 Jul 2016 10:32:58
Seeing a few people talking about Rubén Sobrino leaving City, and thus mentioning Forests name in contention to sign him. I have no idea if this is remotely true.

Eke

1.) 07 Jul 2016 08:42:35
He does fit our ongoing profile of attackers that do not score goals.

2.) 08 Jul 2016 16:04:09
I'll have you know he scored 20 in 68 for Real Madrid C team, 3 seasons ago. Hahaha.

13 Jun 2016 11:23:33
Heard through a family friend that some of the apprenticeships have not been paid for up to 9 weeks now.

Eke

1.) 13 Jun 2016 14:13:12
I guess that with next to no season ticket renwals income has almost stalled so rumour probably has some truth. The fact that Fawaz has mentioned the early bird extension until a new manager is in place again this morning on official website would indicate that nothing is imminent on the manager front.

Pre-season is getting ever closer and you can only deduce that to make a manager appointment and spend any money Fawaz needs an investor and that doesn't seem to be any nearer a conclusion either. The apparent desperation that Fawaz is seeking investment makes me believe that without that investment we will become a selling club and rely on even more bargain basement signings and that will impact on the quality of manager. I may be totally wrong but I don't have much confidence that this next season will be any different to the last one at the moment. I really hope it turns out I am completely wrong.

2.) 13 Jun 2016 16:54:14
syred- I'm hoping it is just a rumour, but the guy seemed pretty genuine. Still trying to keep that last bit optimism that the take over (investment) will be announced tomorrow and the manager announced the day after haha.

3.) 13 Jun 2016 20:50:38
Hang in there Eke and keep on dreaming😄.

09 Jun 2016 15:41:32
Bid's gone in for Apostolos Vellios. No manager news though haha. There has to be something going on behind the scenes.

Eke

1.) 09 Jun 2016 16:03:07
Is he any better than the Dutch lad?

2.) 09 Jun 2016 16:10:02
Bid accepted, just need to agree terms with player. Another waiting game.

3.) 09 Jun 2016 16:31:08
Think last season was his only noticeable one, but i'll be honest i don't know that much about this lad. I just hope his attitude is good and he isn't over paid. Surely it can't get any worse than Abdoun and Djebbour haha.

4.) 09 Jun 2016 17:49:36
Abdoun the bearded magician. Wicked! Get him back.

5.) 10 Jun 2016 14:48:54
Hope we do land him keep hold of lars give em both a proper chance like not ten minutes here and there.

Paul Williams has left his role. Not much of a rumour as i think we was all expecting him not to stay on. Could it mean we are close to a new manager though?

Eke

1.) 12 May 2016 17:02:24
Good! That puts the Williams and Reid question to bed.

2.) 12 May 2016 17:35:25
No.22 positive as ever.

06 May 2016 09:22:33
Lansbury has stated he'd be happy to enter negotiations on a new contract and is happy at the club.

Eke

1.) 06 May 2016 10:28:13
Why would he want to stay here? crap owner, no money, wages don't get paid and a club going nowhere. the lad must be mental.

2.) 06 May 2016 11:05:47
LandsBury knows something in the pipeline.

3.) 06 May 2016 11:10:57
utf - just a thought but maybe he knows more about the points you raise than you?

4.) 06 May 2016 11:55:03
Another cheery summary uptheforest! Maybe Lansbury actually enjoys playing and living in Nottingham? I'm sure there are still 1 or 2 decent honest footballers about.

5.) 06 May 2016 12:01:51
Come on let's be a bit positive, as l've said before if we could build a side around Twisty, Britt and our Henri we could be in with a chance, Henri saying he will consider staying is the best news we've had for a long time, just hope it happens!
CARLO.

6.) 06 May 2016 12:17:41
I should imagine he will easily be the highest earner at the club if a new deal is agreed, unlikely to be matched by the likes of Bristol and possibly even more than what Burnley will be willing to pay him.

7.) 06 May 2016 12:35:54
What a difference 24 hours make up the forest. Saying it can't be that bad 4K going to mk Dons to a rant that we are going nowhere. Make your mind up.

8.) 06 May 2016 13:54:09
Then he calls himself Up The Forest? Couldn't make it up! Lol!

9.) 06 May 2016 14:09:16
Yes some positive posts things looking up on the site 😆😆😆.

10.) 06 May 2016 14:10:44
P. S unless it's all the sunshine and beer 😆.

11.) 06 May 2016 15:31:05
Lol. i get called up the fawaz I then make a joke post because of this and now I'm a haters out could to make it up.

12.) 06 May 2016 15:46:58
Embargo to be lifted soon!

13.) 06 May 2016 15:56:36
Why wouldn't he negotiate?

Henry:

"How much Forest? "

Forest:

Errrrrr

Henry:

"How much Brizzle? "

Brizzle:

"More than Forest"

That's all.

14.) 06 May 2016 16:24:52
Who's Henry? thought it was henri?
Under the embargo we couldn't offer him a bigger contract.

15.) 06 May 2016 17:35:18
Time you all went off to watch the cricket and get off the players backs!

This season has shown that despite injuries we have a committed bunch of players who have not been used to their full potential.

If Casino Chairman can get his spinning balls to land on a half decent manager that understands team building rather than fantasy football and personal ego then with 2 or 3 creative signings we will compete next year.

Lars and Pato have scored half of Forests goal tally for this season so its about the management/ coaching not the players?

If a player doesn't want to be in the team by the end of August why force to keep them? I'm assuming you're talking about Antonio, who wanted to leave.

I also think this is a poor signing, one of the highest earners for his club last season as well. I refuse to believe that we will be offering a contract to another player which seems to be injury prone or has suffered a season long injury haha.
