Any one know when Jamie ward is back because I think he could make a difference to us by pressing the opposition high and putting them under pressure. Most defenders in this league struggle with that

We are on the same page. The right back position is constantly exposed with our current set up and Wardy would just tighten everything up and give eithe Darikwa or Lichaj better protection?

When he got injured in pre season (think it was against Girona) it was said he would be out for 6 weeks. Seeing as we are 8 weeks into the new season i'd guess he's had a setback. I agree with you that he would make a difference to us. I'm hopefull that Ward, Vaughan and even Cash would be somewhere near contention after the international break as they would all make us stronger and give us more options.

Sorry it was Cash that was injured against Girona. Ward injured against Burnley.

Cheers Fred should both be ready soon then. I know ward is no world beater but I think he'd help how we play

I'd like to see him back in the team 2star. Trouble is where does he fit into Warburton's recent system playing with 2 wingbacks and a central midfield 3?

We have to make him fit . He has all the that makes a champ side successful. I'm convinced it's 90% about competeing and being in the oppositions face. Most of our opostition have played that way. Perhaps it's a tactic that works well against us but I think it's very much what The league is about.
