Im sure 4-4-2 would free up more space in the middle and force the pass to go more than 2 yards before the move breaks down 30 yards from goal.

Maybe the second man up front would be able to pass to the other attacker.

Its cringe inducing.

Know how you feel billybongo. Stupid free kick and we are punished. However this Ben Brererton is not the same player I saw at the back end of last season and I think he is thoroughly fed up and dejected at playing wide. It makes no semse to me but I don't think MW will change that
