If we could pick up a draw at Villa I'd be happy. I think MW has two transfer windows left to prove himself and his system, which I hope he can. This time next year if we are not in the top 6-8 in this league, the owner might lose patience. Having said that I accept that financially we cannot compete with other clubs, so McParland has a big job on his hands, and so do Brazil and Lester to give us young players who are sharp and fast enough to cut it in the first XI.

Bsred, good post mate. Everyone wants MW to succeed why wouldn't we? The job isn't that attractive and we were lucky to get him in our predicament last season. It does however need to improve a bit in certain areas.

He'll be gone before then. For me . the manager who loses the Villa game will be down the Job Club. Just saying.

I just think with the nature of the industry, high expectations and trigger happy owners, the writing may be on the wall. I hope not.
