Our current position in the league table is probably a true reflection of where we'll finish at the end of the season. We'll win a few and we'll lose a few. We clearly aren't good enough or consistent enough to challenge at the top but should have enough to stay away from the bottom. Like many others on here though I struggle to understand why we persevere with Brereton playing out of position and wonder how Darwikra keeps Lichaj out of the team. No doubt someone will quote the " we're a work in progress" claptrap that people have been conned into believing. It's just the modern version of saying " a 5 year plan" when basically what it means is we're a mid-table side.

we were in the playoffs 6 seasons ago and a lot of teams that are in the prem now were below us then so was there fans being conned as happy clappers?. i don't care how many years plan they have because they can pull the plug anytime. one area i'm worried about at the moment is our defence i agree darwikra needs resting and replacing by lichaj but i can't see it happening because next transfare window he will be gone maybe its wage issues who knows.
