Can anyone explain to me what the style is , I'm genuinely not being flippant but I just can't grasp what we are set up to do. It's not to play football that's pleasing to the eye - surely not ?

Had to rely on bbc for txt com on the match. As soon as i saw brereton in the side no hobbs no lijchai cummings on bench worral and mills centre backs it would be turgid. From what i saw last week on the telly, the passing was with no conviction or forward momentum. I bet the back line was piss poor in possesion again. Like you 2star i don't see it as attractive football but directionless!!!!

Totally agree 2star. At Brentford he seemed to have a very good style of play and were difficult to beat. Great going forward and and a good passing and pressing team. What have we got right now? None of the above. The wins have been pretty fortunate. The defeats pretty comprehensive and style of play is so predictable I could manage a side to beat us. It's very disappointing as I really thought we would at least play attractive football while not expecting too much from the whole season.

Absolutely terrible today. Brereton lost the ball everytime he got it then just stopped, no intent or will to win it back. Smiths distribution is crap it's eother poor or non existant, could have had a couple of breaks but stood there holding the ball. Worral and Mills, well the less said about them the better. Osborn was poor today. Dowell and McKay OK but both got took off! I'm lost at the moment, we never look like keeping a clean sheet and we never look like scoring.

Nick, I said that today. I remember Brentford taking us apart when he was there with incisive and fast football. This ain't much more pleasing than the dougie days
