Remember Rangers fans saying MW has no plan B. The Leeds game was a good example of this, Leeds played a good pressing game and we had no answer to this whatsoever. We should have tried something different even if it was using the long ball up to Murphy who is good in the air and looking for the knock downs. Every team in the league will now know how to play against us so we need to quickly come up with a different game plan.

He changed against barnsley. He wants us to play football on the deck not hoof ball. If every team knows how we play as you say, we now need to play hoof ball every game. Too many players had an off day. It happens.

Agree Redfin , one bad game against a very good side that everything went for them isn't a disaster. We weren't exactly over run or embarrassed by them.
When you look over the last 12 months where they have come from and where we have , we are doing ok.
Can't transform the team over one summer.
The football is great to watch and very intricate.
Sometimes on a bad day it just doesn't come off.

There's a thin line between hoofball and picking a pass - look at Fox's ball for Cummings' second goal against NUFC. That was a brilliant long pass. There's nothing wrong with hitting it long with a purpose, but playing in triangles without going forward looked clumsy sometimes against Leeds. We'll still finish top 8-10 so no worries. COYR!

Should have gone with fast balls down wings and through channels. Playing through middle and slow build up didn't work, Leeds were to physical and organised but a lot of players did have off days.

I felt if we had hit balls over the top or down the channels for McKay, Brereton and Cummings to run on too we might have had more luck but we didn't deserve anything, just hope as a team we learn from it and MW and the coaches can sort it so if another team comes and stops our passing game we have alternative ideas!

Theres nothing wrong with mixing it up I agree. Play on the deck and then throw in the odd long ball. It can catch a defence out. But we must not get dragged into pumping it long for murphy all the time.
