Having caught up on my reading it's evident that the Greek Wedding was merely postponed during the dance with Uncle Sam.

The deal seems to give Fawaz his ongoing stake which makes sense if he is ever going to get his money back without a complete asset strip of players.

Marinakis appears to have headed off the UEFA investigation and in the intervening period has learn't his Euro management model does not work in the Championship as all his appointees bar Vellios have failed.

The Warburton team appointment must have Greek blessing and visa versa given the circumstances of their leaving as they were clearly approached and Warburton would not forgo £600k pa unless he knew Fawaz had a sales plan?

The CEO lined up should be put in place when and if Marinakis is approved by the EFL. The contract length gives Warburton a cushion if the sale fails.

So let's hope for a Happy Greek Wedding and not a Tragedy?

At least Forest should be on the right side of any undue influences if the historic Greek rumours are true!

I hope he comes into the Forest training ground and adapts the same speech he made to the Olympiakos players

"I`ll tell you something very important and non-negotiable; Forest is a world famous club and for each of you it is an honour to play for this team and for this club.

You must have mutual respect and honour Forest, and anyone who has a problem with that or doesn't like it here, it's time to have the guts to get up and leave -- and that applies to everyone.

We understand your expectations and that you can get yourself in the shop window by playing in the Championship here but as long as you`re playing for Forest you will give everything and sacrifice for this shirt. "

He also fined the squad £500k for under performing!

Maybe just maybe we have acquired some winners?

COYR'S.

He may not be selling Rogie, but he has not denied Marikanis is buying a goodly share and a some respected broadsheets and tabloids are reporting that due dilligence is neary over and Marikanis could be the major shareholder before the end of the season, all the charges in against him in Greece have been dropped. So we will just gave to wait and see. Marikanis is not a fool he will want a proper structure in place and if it is true what Redinexile said about fining lazy players all the better😎.
