A lot of negativity, but is it really that bad? Let me finish.
I don't like the way the club is run. I've been a fan for over 30 years, but looking at the last window I wonder if it's as bad as feels.

Lica in for Burke
Lam in for Wilson
Henderson in for Etimov
Kasami in for Tesche
Dumitru in for Veldwijk
Perquis in for Iacovitti
Carayol in for Ward
Stojkovic in for De Vries
Pereira in for Walker
Traore in for Paterson

Blackstock off the books
Club £12.5M+

OK. So on the whole there £12.5m in the bank. The kids are getting some valuable experience. Some good players have moved on, but so have some donkeys. 11 out, 10 in. A part from what happened with Burke I think that most of the negativity comes from not knowing how good the new guys are. So I ask again, is it really that bad?

I like the the way you have placed players in against the the players that you think they have replaced with the out going players.

But i think if you read the negative posts a little more carefully you would see the negativity comes on a whole more from the:

Subterfuge, red herrings, willful deception, and all round bluff of the owner.

We will move on, but probably not until we get close to the next game where posters will guess whom the manager might pick for the first team.

Doesn't look so bad. Not defending some of the silly things FAH has done. Let's not forget a lot of the transfer business that goes on is done via the media these days with agents and players for that matter leaking crap. Burke discussed with the previous manager, Dougie, what to do just last week as he knew there was a lot of interest so it's hardly a surprise to Burke, even though he stated it was a surprise to him after the last game. He wasn't simply offloaded from under our noses by Fawaz. His head was turned no doubt. FAH may have stated in the media Burke isn't for sale in order to bargain which made it appear as a lie to fans. Whether the price is bang on, overvalued or undervalued is a different debate. Not everything is so clear as it appears to many here. You can't sell a player from under the noses of the fans without the player, probably enthusiastically $, agreeing to it. Is the owner really a villain for just a pawn in the game of what modern football has become. A game driven by agents and their manipulative ways. If I was Fawaz and the game is played via the media, I'd be inclined to play it the same way. You can't admit that's how it went down, or your game face has been lost. i don't think it's all as it seems to those who say he's a liar, boycott games bla bla. Perhaps consider all the angles. Burke, one of your own? What does that even mean now. He could have said I don't want to leave, I want to give it another year. But Dougie said, a week ago, go with your feeling.

totally agree with above posts.
I can't understand those fans that expect the owner to discuss every detail of every move/ purchase/ sale what money they spentreceived etc with fans.
Does this happen in any other sport or business?
of course not.
he is playing a game of cat and mouse with other clubs/ agents etc and it would be stupid to announce your hand to fans prior to making deals. why would you?
Im a Forest fan but don't expect Fawaz or who ever at the club to have to tell me how he is running the business, who he wants to buy or how much money he has in transfer kitty. he doesn't need my consent or aproval on his deals. Its his money in the club .
All this Fawaz is a liar, he's tricking us, etc etc what rubbish
Let the club get on with their bit and let us as fans get on with our bit . supporting the club on match day.
