Safe standing:

Do you agree with it; and

Where would you have it in the ground?

I would like to see it discussed as part of CG consultation process. Trent End would be good.Wolves are going to be first in Prem to do it. Increasing capacity to 50,000 apparently.

It was always safe standing, just Hillsbourgh that wasn't safe and fences stopping an escape route

I remember F.A. Cup match against Ipswich. Early Eighties I think. Every time the crowd would surge forward I would really struggle to breath because of the crush against the barriers. Trent End. It certainly didn't feel safe to me at the time.

That was the problem we were fenced in like animals, dangerous, amazing how quick the fences came down after hillsboro without those responsible for them being taken to task.
They just moved the goalposts for the need for all seater stadiums.

It works if u have designated standing or it just becomes a crush. I used to be one the unfortunate kids squished up against the railings when the surge forward happened. I used to think character building until it all went wrong in Hillsborough. I say keep the seating for my old legs.

There’s a video on YouTube explaining the new safe standing and how it works in Germany.

Realistic red I wouldn’t advocate the whole ground being standing just certain parts. From what I’ve read the new main stand won’t have it in but they might look at different parts of the ground.

Need to get standing behind both goals and move A Block there as they will not be standing in the new stand!

Sorry but when people start to behave then l would love to see standing again It gives the supporter an atmosphere which cannot be equaled by sitting , hence when a goal is scored majority rise to there feet . All sports are the same.
Remember Heysel and Ibrox vividly, crowd being unruly, English clubs banned for 5years due to fan trouble . Crowds surge and people get swept off their feet , read past history on crowd troubles so will we learn from it . Hope so!!!

Most of A block moved two seasons ago.
Make all lower teir standing and upper seats, simple.

It shouldn't be a problem as we are all accustomed to standing on trains and buses!

You have to stand at away matches or you'd miss the match if you sat down

Standing on a bus shouldn't be allowed can't drive a car without a seat belt but can stand up on a bus
?
Emergency breaking and your a gonner.
Fences and part time stewards did more damage at hillsboro and councils giving out safety certificates when they weren't safe.
